*CLOSED* TLP Artist Trading Card Swap 001

Actually, Marilyn... I'm going to have everyone send me 14 cards so it will be easier to divide and send. You will get one card from yourself :)

OK, guys... all closed for this month.

I'm going to be sending you all PMs today with all the information you need! You have 10 more days to create your card and have them on their way. YAY. As soon as I get them all, I'll divide and send them back!

If you missed the deadline for March... keep a lookout for a new swap in April!

On the back of each card please label them with your name, date, any title/message about the card, the label "TLP ATC 001" and credits.

This can be handwritten or created with photoshop and printed... up to you :)

Done and sent to Staples. Took a bit to navigate the website and register, but your instructions were totally helpful. I can't wait!. I'm so excited :yippee :woot

I'm updating the first post as I receive them. The Staples thing worked perfectly and I had no problem picking them up. If you choose this route, just forward me the order/receipt from them. That's the only thing I need to grab them.

So Exciting! I guess I need to get working on mine now. YAY.
 
How exciting! I better get on mine too! I can see what I want to do in my head... now just have to find the right products and get it into Photoshop! :)
 
:woot :yippee! I'm so excited. Come on folks - get your cards to Jen so we can get our hot little hands on them.

I have a feeling next month will be a landslide of joiners...

Gotta get to staples and get some page protectors. The ones for baseball cards should work, is that correct?
 
I hope that's correct, because I bought be baseball card sized ones and even put them in my binder all ready to fill up! :)
 
I went to Staples this weekend to pick up the trading card pages (thanks for the great idea), got me three sets (30 pages total x 9 = 270 slots). Can't say I'm not prepared. I've put the 10+ ATCs I've done in the past into the pages, and they look just so gosh-darn cute in them. Loving it, can't wait to see my treasures in the mail!

Mine are going in the mail today! My back is not as cute as those, but they are done! It was fun creating something totally different that usual--thanks. Can't wait for my mail!
 
I am nearly done. Will have to go with the Staples option cos I'm running out of time to post from the UK. Super excited to see what you've all created :yippee

I'm finishing mine up right now. I have to admit to a fair amount of performance anxiety. LOL I am such a dork.
 
Well Laura if you are a dork then so am I. I can't figure out my backs -- like that's such a big deal. No dorks here, we are all just starting. Can't wait to see yours!
 
No pressure Laura! We will all be thrilled with anything just because you made it! :) ...and you aren't alone. I felt that way too with everyone else that signed up *cough* sissy sparrows *cough* but it figure we can all be inspired by each other and learn as we go. :)
 
:giggle re: performance anxiety. I agree with Karen... it's just gonna be so fun to get cards from you guys!

I've finished mine! But my stupid printer won't connect to my wifi. UGH re: technology! I'm glad I have a couple of extra days to figure it out since I'm still waiting all of the cards. Yay, me. Boo for my printer. I may just have to send to Staples. How hilarious would that be?

Also, tomorrow is the 31st. I know, right? EEP. So get your cards sent to Staples or in the mail by then! I'll keep updating the top post once I actually receive them. (Yes, there are a couple at Staples now and I'll grab them today or tomorrow and update the list)

About the back, don't stress about that. Print them or write them. Honestly, they will only be used for "reference" so we can remember who did what and shouldn't paralyze you! Promise.
