I am so excited to bring you this challenge. Inspiration challenges are always some of my favorite because of all of the different interpretations that they bring. Today's inspiration challenge is one near and dear to me..a Mood Board! "A mood board is a type of collage consisting of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition. They may be physical or digital, and can be "extremely effective" presentation tools." - Wikipedia Mood boards bring a ton of inspiration in their colors, images, textures & patterns. I had a lot of fun creating the mood board for my challenge and I hope everyone finds some inspiration in it... ETA: To clarify, you do not need to create your own mood board. You will use the one that I have created as inspiration And my layout... Credits Here Da Rules: Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Just to clarify... we can use this board and make a page to however it inspires us? Colors, words, pictures, etc...?
So I obviously had a little sneak peak ahead of time and created this last night. I was totally inspired by the colors and the idea of being creative (from the fistful of pastels in the upper photo) and the lighted letters inspired by colorful alpha for my title:
I love mood boards! So we use YOUR mood board as inspiration to create our pages---not us creating a mood board of our own and then a page inspired by it--correct?
I'm so confused. Sorry to be dense. I don't get it. Up at the top are a bunch of images. Are they the inspiration? Also there is a palette. Do we use that like Karen did? No photos? Thanks for the help.
You won't need to create your own board. Use the images and colors that I have complied in any way that inspires you. It can be the colors, the quote, the letters...anything
also - we started a speed scrap a little bit ago - if anyone wants to join in quickly - you can use your SS page for this challenge (the page is due at 11 am eastern!)
Love that Amber LaBau\'s newest kit went with the MOOD inspiration for MOC23, but I knew when I saw the board, I had to have boxes, and color and paint and just the feel of the mood. The letters on the board got me playing with the fonts and adding a little bit more!
I drew from the gold of the iPhone for the background, the rainbow colors for the sequin spatter, and the notion of travel for a photo from one of our Hawaii trips.
Karen ... was wondering how to interpret those lighted letters (which are so very cool) ... i love how you did your title!!!
