There are some things around the house that just are let go ... for like a really long time. Today, I finally took down the Christmas decorations. Had the little ladder out so I could reach the top of the tree (I'm kinda short and our tree and ceilings are pretty high). So I figured while it is out ... let me go around and replace any lightbulbs in the ceilings and fans that need changing. Done, no biggie. Then while up close and personal with the ceiling fans, I notice the blades have not been dusted in a really long time. Done, no biggie. Then while in the Sun Room ... I notice those horizontal wooden blinds ... ugh! If you have these suckers any where in your home, and you do the cleaning yourself ... you must know what I am talking about. Cleaning them has got to be the worst task on the planet. The dust sticks like glue, there's a million slats to be cleaned (Both sides!!!) and then those darn strings going up and down that get in the way.
We have 6 windows in that Sun Room. Only 3 of the blinds are clean ... and I gave up. I HATE cleaning wooden blinds. Has to be my least fave household chore ever.
Wondering what chore leaves you running for the hills ...

Fortunately, he now knows that I will fold all the laundry, except his socks - and he happily does that for me.

Of the chores I actually do, cleaning bathrooms is probably the one I dislike the most.
