What have you watched lately and how did you feel about it?

Tonight I watched Cast Away. After all these years, I still think it is a great movie.

Over the weekend we watched Divergent (it was ok....reminded me of a Hunger Games type movie), Lone Survivor (Navy Seal true story, made me sad) and Anchorman 2 which I fell asleep during because that is just not my type of humor I guess.

I also recently watched Good Will Hunting and Rain Man. My goodness those are great movies. I believe I read that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck actually wrote the script themselves for Good Will Hunting. Amazing.

And I can't watch We're The Millers enough. That movie totally cracks me up.

So spill, give me ideas on what I should be putting in my Netflix queue. :thumbsups

OMG, I love "We're The Millers". I was in tears when I watched it! Jennifer Aniston is one of my favs.

Sunday nights are our traditional "movie nights" for hubby and I - kids go to bed and we watch a Redbox movie. This past weekend we watched the movie Non-Stop with Liam Neeson. I was very skeptical as this is usually not my favorite type of movie - a little suspenseful and a few deaths, but it was really good, and very well written - little twists here and there that kept you thinking! We also recently have watched Ride-Along (pretty good movie as well), and Heaven is for Real. Next weekend will be God's not Dead. We loved We are the Millers - totally our type of humor when it comes to comedies.

I've seen all of those except Heaven Is For Real. How was it? Was it a sad movie?
I love Liam Neeson. He is so good in those kind of movies. He doesn't look like your typical hero but man, he plays a good one. I loved when the movie Taken came out that he is in. Was a really good movie.

I can barely watch an entire movie. I either get bored or fall asleep or both. Plus I'm a crier, so I try not to watch anything too heavy or I'm emotional for days.

The last movie I watched was actually We're the Millers. LOL. And yes, it was awesome and I died laughing.

We watched The Heat a few weeks ago. The one with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. My husband and I haven't laughed so much at a comedy in a long time. That being said, I'm sure that the wine we were drinking helped with that. lol! ;)

Oh yes! The Heat is a great movie as well. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I may watch that again today. ;)

I LOVED The Heat! We watched that last summer in Key West at a movie theater that sold wine. Totally was crying from laughing too hard. :)

We just watched Noah and I really hated it. I know it was a movie, but it was so far from biblically accurate that it just made me mad. Hmm... I can't remember what else we've watched lately as far as movies. I've been re-watching True Blood and we also started Game of Thrones finally.

Oh... I just watched August Rush about a month ago, which coincidentally had Robin Williams in it and I thought that was really good.

I definitely need some cathcing up on movies!!! Lately, I'm all over series and I love them!
But it takes a bit away the looking of the movies. The one I really really want to see right now is the second movie of the hobbit!

I just watched "City of Bones" based on the YA fantasy Shadow Hunter series. I really enjoyed it.

not a big movie person ... usually watch more in the winter when its deary and cold. but we did just rent Divergent (my son and i read the series) so we were curious to see the movie.

love the timeless movies you mentioned. i also love watching old molly ringwald movies ... takes me back to my youth (breakfast club, pretty in pink, etc) i also can watch Napoleon Dynamite endless times.

We're the Millers is on my list.

I still love The Go ones too. We watched it a few weeks ago again cuz my kids love it also.

I am halfway through the 2nd book so can watch Divergent now (based on the first book). Can't wait!

I just realized I watched a movie today :whistle

My boys saw the dvd in the library so we rented it. It's a 'golden oldie' from my childhood: Black beauty.
I used to have the book as a little girl, but can't recall having seen the movie.
I enjoyed the time watching it the boys! :heartslub

ohhh I love the Millers movie!!!!!! Anniston has always been a great actress and in that film she is amazing!!!!

love Good Will Hunting & Dead Poets Society..... August Rush was a delight too....

I have Sarita's high school friend Nadia coming over to look after me when the carer is not home, and she brings movies, we usually watch Bollywood (she is from a Bengoli family- I love musicals- it works well!!!)

She came today when I was in the middle or having a nervous break down with the car people...said she would be back in 15 minutes....and brought back How to Train your Dragon.......
LOVED it!!!!!!!
and it was a really great way to get me to calm down!!!!
:)

Last week I watched "God's Not Dead" with my grandson and LOVED it. Have been wanting to see Noah, but have heard from so many people that is it really awful! Also watched recently that I would recommend: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Chronicles of Narnia, Armageddon, Evan Almighty, A River Runs Through It, Transformers 4 and How to Train your Dragon 2. Most of which I have seem multiple times, except the last 2 which are fairly new but totally awesome! Also watched Riddick and Chronicles of Riddick, but would not recommend those for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I really love them and can watch them over and over, but they are pretty violent movies, and not family friendly.

Next up at our house is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

As far as TV goes, I can't get enough of Crossbones and am waiting (not so patiently) for the new seasons of "Supernatural" "Once Upon a Time" and "Nashville" ... wow, just realized how much time I spent in front of the TV this summer. That can't be good ... lol

We watched Chernobyl Diaries the other night...worst waste of scary movie time ever. Hubs and I usually watch a movie every Wednesday. This week I had a headache otherwise we had planned to rent Divergent. We did go see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 weeks ago in the theater. That was fantastic.

Watched Dallas Buyers Club on a flight a few weeks ago. I can definitely see why Matthew McConaughey won the Oscar. It was really good and he was fantastic.
