Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this next pocket scrapping challenge with you! For this challenge scrap about something you love or hate (or go crazy and do both) about summer. If you're in the southern hemisphere go ahead and scrap about winter. Whether you hate the heat or cold, love building snowmen or going to the beach, document it. Create a page about the season that you are currently in and how you feel about said season. The sponsor for this challenge is Mirjam of Pink Reptile Designs. To participate in the challenge post your layout in the gallery (it must at least be 50% TLP product per gallery guidelines) and then link us up here in the challenge thread. All layouts posted by 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 5th will receive a $2 coupon to the Pink Reptiles Designs store. If you want more information about this project check out this blog post. I also posted about getting started on your own album if you would like more information about that. For this challenge's topic I decided to let some of Kate's doodles do the talking for me and created this page about the things I love and hate about summer. Aaron journaled about his love of wearing sunglasses. Christine documented what she hates about summer, but also talked about why her boys love it! And Anne shares a story that I'm sure many parents can relate to. Hopefully these layouts help inspire you to create your own pocket page about the season you are currently in. I can't wait to see your pages!
Jeanet - those drawings are AMAZING! hate is a really strong word, but here is one thing i will definitely use it for
I think I am starting to have more fun with this digi style than hands on. So, I grew up in the USA where there are 4 seasons, but I have spent the last 10 years in South East Asia, which technically is in the northern hemisphere, but we only have 3 seasons. Gotta Love the Tropics! Right now I am in rainy season, so I started there with this first page. i had so much fun though that i think I might have to make a mini book and do all the seasons.
What a great topic to journal about! I'm not a fan of the short days of winter so I totally get this!
There are gremlins about, or just my sloppiness at getting the links right, I thought I had already postet this here....ups
