I want my life back!

Things have taken a turn for the worse. Kids home 2 more days due to the weather, all my first floor furniture is in the garage, the guy is here installing the floor, and my dogs are not amused.

Screw the Calgon, pass the Vodka.
 
Oh Angie that really sucks! I am so glad I am in AZ and got my little on the bus this morning. I was one happy mama. Couldn't deal with having him home any more lol...

The kids are home until Wednesday, but they are keeping themselves busy with video games. #motheroftheyear

Yep. I'm ready for normal. I was supposed to go back to work today but the kids and I are home due to cold temps. They were back to school last week Thursday and Friday,

Our break was the opposite of relaxing. We spent too much time on the road and living out of suitcases and in other people's houses.

And Eric leaves Wednesday for 8 days.

HA! I'll share that title. Mine are currently attached to the Wii and I don't feel even a little bit bad about it. ;)
 
Two of mine are back to school and hubby is at work. I only have my 3 yr old and she is awesome at entertaining herself. Currently she is cutting up a piece of cardstock with safety scissors while I clean. I am one very happy mama.
 
I know - I am soo glad my holidays are over, I finished university on the 15th of November and just went back on 8th of Jan cause I am doing summer school, if I wasn't I'd still be on holiday for another 7 weeks or so. I must say as much as I hate doing 12 weeks of work in 6 I like getting back into routine again
 
Like Amanda my kids are off for the looooong holidays, and its "MUM! MUM! HE hit me!" etc. etc.. they don't go back till Feb!!!!
My dh had 2 days off over Christmas and just new Years day off :( and next week my SIL is coming with her kids to visit for 8 days. I told dh he better get some time off work coz I'm not entertaining them myself & I have important scrapbooking deadlines- lol - He said he could take a couple of days off! I shouldn't whine because I do love my family, but she doesn't believe in boundaries for her kids so I'm scared....
I don't mind the holidays too much. I just have structured day for activities like craft, DVD watching or Wii, outside time, clean up your room, and leave Mum alone time, he he.
If only my boys didn't fight so much. this arvo I said they could play the wii, but then it turned into a fist fight :( so I had to turn it off.
Also I'm like Amanda staying up late at the moment just to get some alone time scrapping!
 
i hear ya!! kids were supposed to go back to school Tuesday. Nope, we've cancelled school Tues, Wed, and now today for snow / ungodly temps / treacherous road conditions. Let's see if they actually hold school tomorrow, or if they just scratch Friday as well and call it a week. *sigh*

as for Mother of the Year, I'm also in the running. Between DS, xbox one, and PS3 (oh, and let's not forget minecraft on the pc), we're hitting it hard on the electronics up in here!! :rofl
