Pad Patter: 8/26 - Last Dr. Visit

a couple months ago, had fluid behind my eardrum. got meds and now its all better. But I really need to get my eyes checked soon.

My last doctor visit was just my regular checkup and then I got a referral to see a podiatrist and had foot surgery...all within 1.5 months!!

Hmm... I think the last doctor I saw was about a year and a half ago when I got bronchitis the day before we were leaving for our Dominican Republic trip. Blah! Thankfully she gave me antibiotics and they kicked in pretty fast. Otherwise I NEVER go to the doctor other my my annual girlie check up... which I'm way over due for this year.

I had to finally go see a chiropractor because of a bulging disc from doing Russian twists! LOL It's been helping, but I had to stop exercising for a week, taking it easy, etc.

Before that, I made an appointment to have a colonoscopy. I got sick the day before I was supposed to go in, so they made me cancel it. I haven't rescheduled and they just called me to tell me I have to make an appointment to see the doctor again before I get the colonoscopy done! LOL...I'm going to just procrastinate for another year!

I am going to make another appointment for having all birthmarks checked. I do this every year.

This year a 21 year old girl from my village had a birthmark that didn't stop bleeding, she went to have it checked. After a few more tests they told here she's got four weeks left to life. Turned out to be only two. I was horrified when I heard this story.

I went last Thursday for my yearly VA physical. To keep the benefits, have to go kinda thing. Did blood work a week prior.
good cholesterol numbers and everything a OKay! Did have them photograph a mole, that changed a bit for dermatologist to look at, just because of family history. Doc said it looks great. Another year, no pills to take, thanks to exercise, diet and weight loss! woot I'll see them again in 2014

Yes, and photograph them, so you can see if they change. My brother has just passed the 5 of 6 week life expectancy they gave him last month for malignant melanoma. Radical Chemo/New Stuff. Please, please, no tan, get your moles checked.
