Kat, I think it helps to sketch it out each week, even if you don't have time to print or do the journaling. Then you can go back when you do get time. Don't give up!
 
kat, if you are wanting to do journaling, maybe something like this will help...
i've taken a few minutes and put together index cards - 1 for each day. then i can jot down quick notes on what happened that day so i can go back & remember. then next year i'll use the same cards and document the happenings for the same date on the same card (does that make sense?). so a few years from now, i can see what i did each year on jan 3rd or whatever. but it may help you be able to go back & fill in?

I also love this idea... I've been looking at Little Green Frog's weekly templates... I know I can sketch out my own, but I thought I might be more motivated by using a template... I am usually a one or two photo scrapper with a ton of white space so my bigger pages like my week 1 page (bigger=more photos, less white space, lol) took me ages because I am never quite happy with so much on the page. In the end, I loooved that page, it's one of my favorites I think now.
