As we head into the upcoming season wherever you are, what is something that you are looking forward to?

Me, we're heading into the blasting heat of southern Arizona and I'm really looking forward to a good watermelon, Also, looking forward to trying out the community pool in the neighborhood my daughter just bought into.

As a fellow, AZ resident, I'm feeling the blasting heat too! In the summer, I like to exercise in our pool in the evenings -- it's good exercise but also very relaxing. The pool has warmed up enough so I'm starting this week.

I'm looking forward to some downtime in the next couple of months along with a camping trip at the end of July! It has been pretty hectic for me lately, so I am super excited to slow down and just enjoy the summer. I can hardly wait for our camping trip. We aren't going far, but we really love the campground, and it has a nice manmade lake that we take our inflatable kayaks out in. It's heavenly!

Exercising in the pool in the evenings does sound wonderful and very relaxing!!

Yay for a community pool to try Lisa!

There's not a lot I look forward to in summer lol too hot! ;) I'm looking forward to watching my daughter play softball in her summer league (games are at night so thankfully not too hot).

Not working :lol Well, at my job anyway.
I'll be working here on my house and at my mom's, but at least I don't have to be up at 5am for that :)
Also, I'm looking forward to our beach vacation!

I used to do that too, but I gave up the pool maintenance when I moved.

Sounds nice. The last couple of weeks have been hectic for me too. Hoping they slow down just a little next week after my daughter's move and cleaning. The delay in the house closing has really shifted things.

Even the night time ones here will be hot shortly. Enjoy watching her play. Hope her team does well.

I think I'm going to wish I had a beach vacation planned after the next week or so is over. I'm going to need some kind of break.

I've got a dance production to go to on Friday (my friend's daughter), more baptisms in the river, a church BBQ, and sometime in August my company is hosting us at one of the local minor league baseball club's games (Eugene Emeralds...a San Francisco Giants farm team). I'm pretty much enjoying the main vacation component of the summer right now on the windy Oregon coast...but it is sunny and the balcony is somewhat sheltered from the wind.

A little time on the coast sounds wonderful and you have some more fun activities coming up.

It's my favourite season of the year here! Winter in a sub-tropical climate is Perfection :giggle.
I love it as it gets colder and I can snuggle on the couch with my crocheting and watch some comfort tv.

It's funny how you all are melting, while here in Norway I just hope it will get hot enough to go swimming :lol If we are lucky the water will get to 68F during the summer. I don't really like to swim if it's cooler than that. And I really hope the weather will improve in general. Been like 59F outside these last few days :eyeroll

Hoping for the rain to stop so that we can lay sod in the backyard. We've fixed the low spots where we are going to lay sod, but the rain keeps coming and it is too muddy to work right now! But the flowers are looking amazing with all the rain!

We don't have a whole lot planned for this summer and I'm actually pretty thankful for that. It's so nice to have a free weekend once in a while to do whatever we feel like when we wake up. :giggle
