What are you looking forward to this season

It's funny how you all are melting, while here in Norway I just hope it will get hot enough to go swimming :lol If we are lucky the water will get to 68F during the summer. I don't really like to swim if it's cooler than that. And I really hope the weather will improve in general. Been like 59F outside these last few days :eyeroll
I like the pool warmer, I think even that 70F feels chilly to me. Even that ambient temp is a bit low for me now that I’ve been living in this denser climate for so long now.

Hoping for the rain to stop so that we can lay sod in the backyard. We've fixed the low spots where we are going to lay sod, but the rain keeps coming and it is too muddy to work right now! But the flowers are looking amazing with all the rain!
We had a good soaking Monday morning, but the rains have gone for a bit. I love the rain, but it can sure put a damper on plans

We don't have a whole lot planned for this summer and I'm actually pretty thankful for that. It's so nice to have a free weekend once in a while to do whatever we feel like when we wake up. :giggle
I’m looking forward to a few of those too. These last few weeks have been abnormal for me with helping my daughter Clean, pack, clean paint. I guess next will be unpacking

Well, that would be superb! Nearest ocean to me is a good few hours drive down into Mexico, or 6 hours to the Pacific coast.
I just can't imagine not living near water/the ocean. I have done so my whole life even though I've lived quite a few different places. The farthest from the ocean I've lived is in Athens, GA which was a 4 hour drive from the Atlantic Ocean. Even when we lived in Belgium, England and Ireland we were close to the sea. Then in the US I've lived in Rhode Island, Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvannia, Virginia and Mississippi -- all near the coast or less then 3 hours.

I grew up in Florida, and I definitely miss the Atlantic coast.

I'm only an hour from the Coast and wonder why I don't visit more often. Just get into my routines, I guess. I would definitely live over here if I could.

We are on a few days up in the 100s, and I am rejoicing for the a/c. I actually love what comes next, MONSOONS. It's hot, but the storms that come next are gorgeous! Lightning and thunder so loud that the house shakes! Then torrential rains. I can stand by the window for the whole storm.
It also means the end of ridiculously hot temperatures. We don't travel much until after July, so small projects indoors are fun to check off as we complete!

I lived in Arizona for one summer and I LOVED the monsoons! Downpour everyday at 3:00 pm, it was so refreshing!

I'm enjoying the freedom and abundance of time off from work. Also, last week's road trip went well and I enjoyed seeing my friend's hometown and her family.

We seem to have gotten a few of those early monsoon showers over here in AZ, but it seems just a little early for official monsoon season. But I’ll take it. Love the rain.

Great that you enjoyed your road trip, and getting some time off work to do whatever you want for a breather.
