I'm hitting the food and drink category again today. It was surprising to me to see that Iced Tea is the 2nd most popular beverage in the world behind water. I grew up in the southern US and "sweet tea" was very popular. You had to ask specifically for unsweetened if that was your choice.

But I love iced tea, especially in the summer month. I generally brew every other day. I tend to stick with decaffeinated black tea as I don't need the caffeine later in the day.

In the past, I've also enjoyed some iced green teas, but I seem to always come back to the simple black tea with lemon for my summer. I add about 1/2 tsp of sugar to a quart of tea, sometimes I leave it out; I love it either way.

Do you like iced tea? Plain? with lemon? and/or sweetened?

I’m surprised that iced tea is so popular. I’ve never tried it. I only drink herbal tea when I’m sick (spearmint or throat coat).

Do you like iced tea? How emphatically can I say this without yucking everyone's yum? :plotting

NO!!!

I am always surprised at how many of my colleagues order it when we go out to our regular lunches together. :headscratch

Yes, I loved iced tea, especially brewed rather than from a mix. I like just a touch of sugar if I brew it myself. Perfect for a warm day!

Samesies! I wish I liked it, but I just don't. Same with coffee.

Yes, this is me. No mixes, I can’t stand it when a place serves one of those premade things that isn’t fresh brewed. Have you ever gone in and asked if the tea was brewed on site? The looks I got, the order takers are mostly clueless.

I grew up with it as a normal thing, and I also drink my daily coffee black, but the price of a 22oz bag of beans just jumped by $6 a bag, so I might be cutting back on quantity, or maybe switch to tea for my mornings. :lol

I understand the price point pain! Diet Coke is about twice as much as it was a few years ago, unless they run a sale. So painful!

Sorry not really. I like my tea piping hot so I can dunk a bikkie into it (gingernuts for the win!)

I’m not sure I know what a ginger nut is, but it looks kind of like what know as a gingersnap. Hot tea is generally reserved for winter or a morning coffee replacement fore me. I never really got the whole dunking thing, but gingersnaps go great with tea either hot or cold.

I don't like tea, but I must admit that in the summer I quite enjoy a cold peach-flavoured herbal tea.
My favorite is this one :
There was a place years ago that served a yummy brewed peach tea. Sadly, they changed ownership and offerings. I never could find any others I liked as well. I have no idea if we have this a panda one available, but I’ll check.
