Maybe this is a no-brainer, but do you prefer blooming flowers or spring showers?

I love this time of year because I do love the blooming flowers, but when those rain showers hit, I get so relaxed! I love listening to them. So, this is a hard one for me to choose. I suppose the flowers win for being photogenic!

Well, I did have some flowers already blooming (early perennials my dad planted many years ago) but after today and tomorrow's weather, I'm not sure they'll be around. Low tonight around 18, high tomorrow around 26 and low tomorrow night around 18 again (all after 70 on Sunday!)

We did have rain overnight and have had some rain in the last week but not enough. My area is still considered to be in drought conditions even with the snow we had this winter.

So I'm actually OK with rain (except Thursday when I'll be on a half-day historical bus trip) these days.

Blooming flowers, though I do appreciate the showers since I live in a desert.

I also live in the desert and we are always desperate for rain so I'm going with showers! Living in the desert has really made me appreciate rain!

Without the rain there are no flowers so I say Spring Showers all the way!
That being said its Autumn here so I'm not the best person to ask :giggle

Give me rain and storms!!! I love the rain, the thunder, the stormy days. Blame it on being a Pisces and loving the water I guess. Or blame it on being a March baby coming 'in like a lion out like a lamb' lol as they say the month does with all the stormy weather.

I love spring showers and chasing rainbows.

I think I'd be more excited about flowers if I didn't live in a place where something is always blooming.

Give me rain cause usually it means the humidity is less....ask me in July/August (Winter) & I'm usually begging for better weather!

I choose the flowers, but I do love an occasional shower. What I really love is a good evening thunderstorm!!

Woke up to snow on the ground this morning. That huge pile of leaves that congregated by the steps to the patio from all the wind over the weekend was snow covered. It has mostly melted now but I'm ready for this cold weather to go away. Give me rain instead.

Where is your bus trip taking you?

I won't tell you how it's in the 70s here in Oregon today, then.

Another desert ️ rat here! We watch the clouds build up and then nothing for days. The anticipation of a good storm ⛈️ is so intense! It just takes a tiny bit of water for remarkable bloomsIMG_6653.jpeg
So I love spring and summer monsoon storms!!!

This is just a local trip in Ohio. We're going to a county about 45 minutes away where we will see that county's historical museum and courthouse built in 1915. We will also stop at Ohio Northern University at the Remington Walk (reproductions of western-themed sculptures) and the Wilson Sporting Goods factory. I'm looking for ward to seeing how footballs are made :) All footballs used in the NFL and NCAA are made there. My mother graduated from ONU so that will be nice as well. And, we get lunch.

My county's historical society does these trips several times a year. This one is a short one. They have others that go to the other side of the state and are pretty much all day trips and more expensive since they have to charter a bus. Our local Y is providing the bus for this trip which is why it is a short trip. They need the bus for school pickups in the afternoon. And, it is an old school bus that they have fixed up so they recommend we bring seat cushions :)

It seems that rain is a bit scarce around here, so I'll take the rain, but I do enjoy the blooming flowers that seem to follow.
