Hello and welcome to Lynn Grieveson's November Challenge. Our challenge this month is to create a page that spans time. Create a page that contrasts the then or now, a page that shows the passage of time.

here are a few ideas:
  • learning something new - an update showing how much progress has been made
  • a child growing
  • you as a child, and your child now
  • starting and leaving school
  • wedding day, and wedding anniversary
  • birth & birthday
  • empty building site and the completed house
  • your childhood home/town then and now.
In the creation of your page, please include at least one then photo, and at least one now photo.

Also include some form of journaling. The journaling will help tell your story and identify your then and now. You could use one or more of the following:
  • dates
  • captions that show the difference (for example, "our wedding day" and "our 25th wedding anniversary")
  • blocks of text that tell the story in more detail.
Here's a page I created that looks at the beginning and end of my eldest's educational journey. I've used captions for my journaling.

This page shows her mountaineering with photos 10 years apart. I've used dates to identify the passage of time.

The rules:
  • Create a page about then and now.
  • include at least one "then" photo
  • include at least one "now" photo
  • some form of journaling identifying the then and now, and telling your story.
Challenge Requirements:
· Create a new scrapbooking page with the above rules.
· Use a minimum of 75% Lynn Grieveson Products.
· Post your page to Lynn Grieveson's Gallery, and then come back to this thread and post a link to your layout. (Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout and validate your project).
· Please remember to follow Gallery Guidelines and list your credits in the gallery posting.
· No double-dipping…your layout must be created for this challenge only, no others.
· This challenge will remain open until midnight (EST) November 30th, 2025.

Ugh, there used to be a delete button for mistakes. I made a big mistake and had to redo the entire page. Life is like that, and scrapping is always better than laundry or dusting.Resized(1761566199034)_Resized_20251027_075623.jpeg Cats eating breakfast photo for fun.

First layout in a while, but this challenge just spoke to me. I used Lynn's Mariko Kit, some parts from Amica and Summer Freedom and a thread from Nocturne.. A couple of word strips from Rachel, and her messy date stamps.

@Angela Toucan I think I messed up, I put this in the member gallery and tried to tag Lynn's gallery, I did put a tag for Lynn Grieveson Designs, but it is not showing when I go to her gallery. I'm not sure how to move it, or if I just delete it and re-add it.

You did great. Thank you for adding your page with the BB code link that is so very helpful. The new gallery doesn't let us add to multiple galleries. So we have the tags for additional categories. If you search the gallery with Lynn's tag you will see it:
