SC2025-Week6-Game-YosemiteHalfDome&Clouds.jpg

From Summer 2000 - My first trip to Yosemite. It was so amazing and I won't ever forget it and you have to see it believe how truly beautiful it is. Taken from the overlook towards Half Dome. (Scanned film)

I have so many I could share! But this one is close to home, taken just a few days ago. I hike this trail several times a week.

This was a special moment that happened this summer when we traveled around Sweden. We saw this herd of reindeers on the mountain and we got a bit closer. I had brought my big camera and I was thrilled when this one looked right into the camera and I snapped this picture.

I have thousands of nature photographs! My favorite is usually my latest one. I took this while on vacation in northern MN last week. I was done photographing the sunset and then this cloud showed up.

I have so many, Alaska, Yellowstone, Hawaii, Smokey Mountains, but for this I'll go more recent with Lake Michigan from 2 weeks ago. It's different exploring nature with my kids. I love the magic in this light & reflections & the pure joy that the setting gives. I wish I brought my real camera along, (this is actually my first trip in my life that I DIDN'T bring the big camera), but I love the imperfections anyway.

Wowee! That is breath-taking! Your description reminds me of the first time we went to see the Grand Canyon. I had seem lots of photos of it but nothing really prepares you for the in-person experience. I admit that I teared up a little bit.

What an amazing capture! The soft lighting and direct eye contact really make this one special -- I mean, other than the fact that it's a photo of a reindeer in the wild!

The cloud is such a great focal point of this photo to elevate it beyond "just" another pretty sunset! Really beautiful shot!

I love the sun rays and the motion of the kids -- this really captures a fun day at the beach! I have been traveling lately without my big camera and sometimes I regret it but sometimes I catch something with my iphone that is interesting and new too.

I love nature and I take photos all the time of nature so I'm posting my favorite nature photo I've taken recently. This grogeous butterfly I got to snap during one of my lunch walks I take everyday when I work from the office. I stopped while he was pausing for a break and with my Samsung Ultra I was able to zoom in without getting too close to spook him.

Very cool shot - I love both the flower pods and the beautiful butterfly!

Our town borders on a national park. It is a large sand drift area surrounded by heathlands and forest. Over the centuries the land eroded and the loose sand was blown away by the wind. The surrounding trees kept the drifting sand from spreading further, which created dunes. It always amazes me that on top of those dunes you are actually standing in the forest. And what looks like small trees are actually only the tops with the trunks buried underneath the sand.

While I was out last Thursday and after leaving the grocery store after packing up my friends car...we looked up and saw some pretty amazing cloud formations...took some cool pics...Here's one of them...It was getting really dark quickly...and felt like a thunder storm was coming...

What interesting topography and the fact that you are oly seeing the tops of the trees is wild to think about! Thanks for sharing!

Cool cloud photo - love how you can see the different layers of clouds. Definitely looks ominous!

Wow, it is awesome to See all these stunning photos!

I decided for a small Detail I was able to capture last weekend. It was something special to Discover these two praying mantises maiting, because you rarely see them here.

Mantises (Manti?) are such cool bugs. A smidge creepy to me, but cool!
