1. I love penguins
2. I have been to 5 of the 6 Disney's around the world
3. I have visited all the provinces in Canada[/QUOTE]

I reviewed about 8 pages of your 133 page gallery and saw no penguins, Disney parks or Canada travel. I’ll simply guess that #1 is the lie.

Me:
1. I’ve been retired for almost 13 years.
2. Photoshop is my jam.
3. I dabbled in digital scrapbooking for years before going all in.

I don't think you look old enough to have been retired for 13 years! So, #1

Which of these is a lie?
1. All of my children are married.
2. I kissed Roy Rogers' grandson.
3. I drink diet Coke every day, all day.

I will guess #3 is the lie

1. My favorite color is black.
2. I love visiting the beach but only at sunset.
3. My dog's name is Hank.

Sorry! It's #3. I haven't posted a disney layout in awhile but I will have some soon...we visited Disney in Japan last year. I do love penguins... just don't have many pics! I live on Canada and have a couple of more provinces to visit!

@Dady, yep that's the lie. I was hoping to be a nurse and did a pre degree course to get in but it was highly competitive so didn't get in. Ended up giving up on what I thought was my dream career & pivoted to a different degree in Disability Studies (part social work, part education, part community work)

@scrapchyck, #2 is the lie. I played with photoshop for years and never completed a single layout. It was only when I started to use Affinity Photo for iPad that I found my stride.

You are so kind. Sorry that I haven’t updated my ten year old avatar photo. I retired from my career as an anesthesiologist the day I turned sixty. I first developed hand arthritis in my 30s. I was 56 when I noticed some changes in my ability to do several tasks. I requested disability accommodations and was fortunate to continue with my employer until I was eligible for “full early” retirement.

Unfortunately both my maternal grandmother and I both worked at jobs that exacerbated our probably genetic predisposition to small joint osteoarthritis. She also had the skin that barely ages. She lived for six days after a stroke in her mid-eighties. Until that sixth day, she continued to look like she was 65. When I saw how much she had aged overnight, I knew…

I'm cheating with my photo, too...ironically, I was 60 in that photo! I will have to give Affinity Photo a try. My son worked for Apple and so I bought an iPad and he gave me a keyboard and a pen, but I am just SO used to Photoshop now, and getting older and older and set in my ways. Not sure I want to learn something new, but the portability would be neat. I play on a laptop, but it's still bulky to take on trips. Does your osteoarthritis give you trouble when scrapping or do you have good control with medication? It's interesting to hear other people's stories. Thanks for sharing a peek into your life.
