Google Meet has the option for video, audio and/or chatting and you can do any combination that you prefer. Some hosts may pick just text, others may do audio/video conferencing. You can use your camera or not. Feel free to type if you have things going on around you where chatting live isn't possible/comfortable or if you don't want to show off iNSD bedhead The Social Scraps are new and intended to allow guests to socialize like at a crop. There is not an assignment for these, so grab a snack or something to sip and catch up/meet friends while you scrap whatever project you'd like! The two scraps will take place in the iNSD forum. My Kick Off chat will be typing.. I cannot talk for long periods of time without my voice going kaput!
It doesn't matter if you don't have a microphone... you can just type along and listen to those who chose to talk. When I did my Google Meet chat we had some who had camera and voice on and some who just typed to chat. Either way should work. Or you could log on with your phone and then you'd have a microphone. I had to do that at first because my webcam wasn't cooperating.
Going to try to stay at the kickoff chat! My kiddos in fighting form today, so how long I last on my computer might be not of my choosing, lol!
