okay, not happening! val does not come to the boat if i can't come! i say we all boat crash! with our books! that would make for a fun fishing trip! :giggle

Is this still happening?? I picked up a few of the books mentioned here last time I went to the bookstore.
 
I was just thinking the other day that we needed to resurrect this thread. maybe we could do like a poll with some of the most often mentioned books and then every one could vote?

I have been itching to read The Giver by Lois Lowry. Apparently there was some controversy with the book Matched (Which I LOOOOVED). People said that Matched was a rip off of The Giver and I have wanted to read it ever since! :)
 
and I am bummed I didn't see this thread earlier! You guys weren't supposed to talk about anything while I was on vacay! ahahah!

Well, now I want to read The Giver, because I kind of liked Matched.

I totally want in on this one too! I just got the first book in the fever series downloaded on Kindle from another thread I saw on here. SO fun.
