Do You Wear Jewelry?

No, I don't wear any jewelry. The only thing I ever wore in my addult life was my wedding ring when I was married. When I was little I liked jewelry, what little girl didn't have a ladybug ring or a beaded necklace? I dunno when that love stopped. Never got my ears pierced, and I don't like things around my neck. I even don't wear a watch.

Love those pretty rings and your nail polish color/sparkle!

I wear my Wedding/Engagement/Anniversary rings on my left hand. The Wedding band and Engagement ring were my grandmothers from the 1950's. My grandmother and my husband gifted me all 3 rings one Christmas. It was super sweet and special. They are Tiffany, but I think that stamp rubbed off, you can only see bits. My original engagement ring is in my jewelry box... and that holds a special place in my heart too.

On my left hand is a large cloudy gray blue topaz ring. My mom said it was my great grandmothers ring, but I'm unsure.

I wear earrings when I go out...
I wear a dainty diamond circle necklace that my mom gave me.

I have jewelry but only wear my cladagh necklace, my wedding and engagement ring on my left hand and the cladagh ring on my right hand. I wear the same earrings.. birthstone posts that I have used in the second holes in my ears for 50 years now LOL and I have small hoops.

I have lots of jewelry but have trouble with the catches so I don't bother changing anything.. I have my Mom's jewelry and a few pieces from both of my grandmothers and of course a beautiful pair of hoops that were my MIL's but I am always afraid I will lose the sentimental jewelry so I do not wear.

How nice to have those special rings to wear occasionally. My ear holes had only partially closed up after many years so I was able to poke thru the back and now have double studs in each ear. I don't wear anything that dangles b/c of playing with the dogs.

Yeah, dogs can be a problem with dangly earrings. That's why I always wore studs but even the long post wasn't long enough because of the lump in that ear so putting the back on made it too tight thus causing the pain. Had I not had 2 dogs at the time I would have worn my dangly earrings and would probably still be wearing earrings.

Funny thing is only the hole in the ear with the lump closed.

Currently I don't wear any jewelry. I used to wear my engagement and wedding rings, but stop when we divorced. Used to wear my great-grandmother's birthstone ring, but the band became so thin I stopped. I had a cross necklace that my great-grandfather gave me when I was 2 that I wore 24/7 until my xDH accidentally broke the chain. Then I wore a heart necklace my sister gave me for several years, until I managed to catch my hairbrush in the chain and broke it. I had pierced ears, but had allergic-reaction issues with wearing earrings, so I stopped wearing them.

At some point I'd like to get the cross and heart necklaces' chains repaired ...

You can tell that you and I grew up in the same time frame. Cross necklaces were given on special occasions and we wore them constantly even into adulthood. Only to stop wearing them when the chains broke. ;)

The only thing I were daily is my wedding ring. But on Sundays or if we're going out somewhere special then I'll wear a necklace, earrings, a bracelet and sometimes a second ring.

Your rings are so pretty! The only jewelry I wear is my wedding rings. I just got new ones and I'm really enjoying. them.

Almost never. I don't even wear my wedding band. I'm the less girly girl ever.

I don't wear my wedding ring either. I quit wearing it several years ago when my fingers would swell with my fibromyalgia. I don't wear much jewelry. Sometimes a necklace that goes with a dress, but not much else... not even a watch... sensitivity to metals.

I have problems with metal as well. When I wore clocks, I always put a coat of clear nail polish on the back of the clock.

Pretty rings, Rae!

My wedding/engagement rings haven't fit in 20 years, but even if they did, I wouldn't be able to wear them to work. Only one simple band is allowed, and mine are delicate with protruding stones. In fact, I'm not allowed any jewelry whatsoever on hands/wrists/forearms, and necklaces are only allowed inside your shirt (kind of defeats the purpose). I can wear small earrings, so I do that about twice a week if I'm in the mood. I take them out shortly after I get home though. They don't bother me at work but start to itch when I'm home and not distracted by all the activity. LOL I do wear my Apple watch all the time when I'm not at work, but that's it.

For 55 years, my wedding band has never left my hand, and for over 60 years, I’ve enjoyed wearing my grandmother’s birthstone ring. Every day, I also wear a pretty diamond necklace, a treasured gift from my husband. When I was working, I loved accessorizing with jewelry, especially brooches (inherited from my mom and other relatives) and pins, though they’ve fallen out of fashion. Even so, I still enjoy wearing brooches on my jean jacket, keeping a bit of that tradition alive.
No....brooches are huge last year and this year!!! I watch tons of fashion/jewelry trend videos and believe me, brooches have made a huge comeback. I have tons of them and wear them all the time.

Ya, I get that. It wasn't practical for me to wear much during my working years but now that I don't work I can wear whatever I want so now I can have fun with accessories.

Love the rings!

When I was in elementary school I would wear a ring on every finger. Now I only wear my wedding ring.

The only other jewelry I wear consistently is earrings. My favorite pair is silver hoops but they’re discoloring so I need to replace them with a new pair. I do not like stud earrings because my ear piercings are uneven so studs always look weird on me. I like big dangly earrings and they drive my oldest crazy so she bought me big dangly black rat earrings for Christmas. I now wear them to all her sporting events lol

I have always hated gold so all my jewelry is silver.

I wear minimal jewelry--I do need a new pair of earrings as I lost the back to my stud and lost a diamond earring.

Other than that, it's my wedding band/engagement ring and watch. Occasionally I'll wear a necklace/bracelet.

Love the rings Rae!

I used to religiously wear lots of jewelry - every outfit had a nice watch, earrings and necklaces (and sometimes bracelets). These days I pretty much just stick to my engagement and wedding ring on one hand and a stacked rings with my kids' names on the other hand. If I'm going out on a date, girls' night or have a meeting where I'm presenting to lots of people, I'll add earrings.

When I originally got these I was wearing them on my ring finger, but I lost weight and have to wear them on my middle finger so I don't lose them.

Love those rings Rae especially that flower one! Sounds like compared to most here, I wear alot of jewelery which I didnt think I really did. I wear my wedding band, engagement ring, a thumb ring my friend got me in Saudi Arabia (it was too big for any of my other fingers, and my husband hates it), a key necklace, a second necklace, and my stud earrings. I never take them off. I have a lot of other rings that i stopped wearing because I gained weight. I used to rotate them on my right hand, but now they are locked up at the bank :(

I love wearing jewellery, and have a growing collection of earrings, necklaces and bracelets. I don’t own any brooches yet. I tend to purchase silver, but slowly added some gold to my collection. I always look out for unique handmade items, and have a few favourite sellers on Etsy that make clay jewellery.

I also picked up some beautiful glass earrings while on holiday in Tenerife, that looked like the sea.

I wear earrings everyday, and try to match to my outfit.

Most of the time, I just wear my engagement/wedding/eternity rings along with a pair of stud earrings. I have a nickel allergy so I have to be careful about the metal in my earrings. If I'm going out somewhere, I wear a pair of dangly earrings and very occasionally a necklace or bracelet. I have a jewellery box full of things I have picked up while travelling but forget to wear them most of the time.

I love the idea of the names on the rings. Congrats on the weight loss BTW!
