I am a huge Cartoon junkie! I guess I am a child at heart! so that brings me to the question:

What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
    Do you still watch cartoons?
Do you have a list of favorites i must watch?

Scooby Doo was my favorite growing up and I loved that my kids loved it too - especially the movies. I also watched a lot of the Flintstones and Bugs Bunny. Like lots of GenXers, much of my classical music "knowledge" came from Bugs Bunny. I still watch a bit of The Simpsons and Spongebob and I will watch a new Scooby Doo movie now and then.

I don't remember picking a favorite but I watched a lot of Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Sylvester & Tweety, Scooby Doo, and others I'm surely forgetting.

My favorite animation now is the YouTube channel Kurzgesagt, which makes informational videos about science and history. Here's one of my favorites because it's based on a book, What We Owe The Future by William MacAskill, which of course I read after watching the video a couple of years ago.

Yes, if Pixar movies fall under the broader category of cartoons.

Do you have a list of favorites I must watch?
I'd recommend these Pixar movies, they are my favourites:
    WALL-E (2008)
    Inside Out (2015)
    Coco (2017)
    Soul (2020)

Two of my favorites were Garfield and The Smurfs.

Do I still watch cartoons? I love Japanese Anime which is animated, so if that counts then I definitely do. And I love animated movies like Frozen and Cars.

If you are at all interested in Japanese Anime, let me know and I'll be glad to share some of my favs.

What was your favorite cartoon growing up? Hmmm.... I think I liked the Smurfs and Garfield and Flinstones best.

Do you still watch cartoons? Not really. I used to when my kids were little. I love Little Einstein's then. I've watched quite a bit of anime with my kids over the last couple of years. My oldest is obsessed with Attack on Titans, so I've watched that whole series and liked it pretty well. We also watched Vinland Saga (but it's not done yet) which I really liked and also this summer we watched Arcane and I liked that one too.

Do you have a list of favorites i must watch? I don't even know what's out there now. Lol.

I'm old. lol! My faves were Crusader Rabbit, Mighty Mouse, and the old Roadrunner and Bugs Bunny cartoons. Then came Animaniacs a while back which were hysterical. Now I haven't found anything interesting enough to watch.

Old here too ... so Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Sylvester & Tweety, Mighty Mouse, Roadrunner, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Underdog, Huckleberry Hound, Magilla Gorilla, Porky Pig, Snagglepus, Deputy Dawg ... I think Beany and Cecil was my favorite. I think I still have my stuffed Cecil (sea serpent) in my attic.

I can't remember the last time I watched a cartoon.

    Do you still watch cartoons?
Of course, with my daughter. <3 And I will continue doing so when she'll be a teenager and lose interest in those, because I'm not going back to series for grown ups (too much real life problems in there; I'd rather watch/read about fairy castles and magic worlds!)

Do you have a list of favorites i must watch?
    Bluey.

@Dorci I watched Vuk too, loved it :heartlub
upload_2024-10-21_21-55-20.jpeg Hedgehog in the fog is wonderful for Halloween watching even with quite young kids, it's scary because of atmosphere but not terrifying.

My daughter just made me watch Arcane very recently and we ended up just binge-watching it one very rainy Sunday. I hear season 2 is coming out soon. It was very good. In the recent years we watched Over the Garden wall and Centaurworld with my other dd, and they have different vibes but are oh, so good, we laughed we cried kind of thing. Totally recommend if you haven't yet

And @Karen, what have you done darling, I have an earworm now from the faraway past in circles in my head, we're going on a trip in my fav'rite rocket ship... LOL!

Oh man... yeah, that song used to get stuck in my head too... and probably will again now that you've brought it up. :giggle

Thanks for the recommendations on shows too! I was really surprised to find that I liked Arcane after my kids told me it was based on League of Legends... but it was really well done. I do remember my son saying something about season two in November-ish?
