What’s the last movie you watched at home? Modern era, Top Gun Maverick. I had bought it on Amazon in 2022 and finally watched it in 2023 with my cousin following my surgery October 2023. This past March I saw that a movie made from a book I read in high school was on TV so I watched it. How Green Was My Valley... a black a white movie.

If you don’t like movies, what do you like to do instead of watch movies? Watch mostly Reality TV. Otherwise, I'll do jigsaw puzzles, read, scrap or lately research my genealogy.

That's fun you discovered a movie that was made from a book you read in high school. I always think it's fun to give those movies a try even though they never measure up to the books.

If you don’t like movies, what do you like to do instead of watch movies? I love movies! I watch all sorts, just not horror. I like to dip into international movies with subtitles or dubbed English.

I haven’t seen Mother of the Bride for so long!

I want to see Fall Guy but my daughter already went to see it so we probably won’t watch it as a family now.

What’s the last movie you watched at home? I streamed The Idea of you, I expected more, and the plot disappointed me, it was like a poor copy of The rebound (just that I really love the rebound).

If you don’t like movies, what do you like to do instead of watch movies? I do LOVE movies, actually is one of my favorite hobbies.

Do you like scary movies? I do and so does my husband. We usually watch a bunch around Halloween.

What’s the last movie you watched at home? Um... I think it was a re-watch of Happy Gilmore with my son. So funny!

What’s the last movie you watched in a theater? Probably Oppenheimer? (it was meh)

If you don’t like movies, what do you like to do instead of watch movies? Both my hubby and I have started to prefer mini-series type shows over movies because you get so much more of a story from those. And it seems like they don't have as many movies in the theaters these days to even get excited about.

That’s fun you watch all the scary movies around Halloween. We just watched Tarot last night and liked it.

I totally agree that movie theaters don’t have as much to get excited about these days. Streaming has changed the game!
 
Do you like scary movies? Depends on your definition of scary - I do NOT do horror movies. I do however like classic Hitchcock movies like The Birds, Vertigo, Rear Window, etc. I draw the line at Psycho however.

What’s the last movie you watched at home? The Hating Game on DVD - a romcom

What’s the last movie you watched in a theater? The Fall Guy. I'd like to see IF and maybe the new Twisters movie. I love going to the movies. I love watching on a big screen, sitting in the Dreamlounger seats, eating popcorn, the whole bit! I'm all in on Movie Magic. :heartslub

I'm with you and enjoy going all out at the movie theater with nice seats, good eats, etc.
 
Do you like scary movies? Yes! But my husband hates watching them with me because I JUMP and I'm usually squeezing his hand the whole time with my eyes shut whispering "what's happening?"

What’s the last movie you watched in a theater? The Watchers, last night. We have the AMC movie pass and go to the movies every week. We usually see at least two movies a week. We love it! We've seen 31 movies so far since January (the app tracks the movies you go to.)
