Busy | Pad Patter 4.11.24

I've been a bit busier than usual. Friend and I hosted our Spring retreat last weekend, and this week I've been busy working on my taxes (didn't get all the info until last Thursday). I'm dropping my Federal form at the post office shortly and next week I'll finalize my state return and get it into the mail.

April, May, and December tend to be the busiest! In April and May we are wrapping up our school year and there are so many events: end of year programs, multiple recitals, debates, presentations, piano guilds, concerts... Ack! I do love all of the things. I love seeing my kids accomplish big and hard things, but I'm always ready for that sigh of relief when it's all done! And we can slow down a bit and enjoy the summer.

I have a love/hate relationship with all the big end of year events. I wish they could be spread out more!
 
Whew! Busiest time for me, both work and home. I honestly thought that once my kids were grown and I didn't have sports and things that things would slow down. Turns out there's a whole lot of stuff just waiting to take thier place lol.
At work, it's IEP season, report cards, progress reports, annual reports, all the festivals, prom, field trips...you name it.
