Retirement Sale | Pad Patter 3/15

Are you planning on shopping?
Yes though I probably don't need to!

Do you have a plan on how you will shop?
Look through the store, add what I want then go through my stash and take out any parts of kits where I already have the entire kit (in the case where individual parts are being retired but while kits aren't), wait and assess what I actually need then make my final decision cause need and want are not the same thing!

Do you set a budget?
Pre being a Polly I definitely did - I'm on a limited budget and with exchange rates to factor in as well.

Do you end up sticking to it?
For the most part yes.....I do try and save up for the bigger sales as if I go more than $10-20 over after exchange rates are factored in I more than likely will have to go without something else.

Are you planning on shopping?
No! MOC & LOD has had me spending like a maniac. I will have to set myself on a strict no-shopping-for-digiscrap-supplies for at least a couple of months.

Do you have a plan on how you will shop?
NOTHING

Do you set a budget?
Don't I always?

Do you end up sticking to it?
NEVER. I'm already using up my money for April's budget.

And now Dunia released a new kit that I MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need rehab!!!!!!!

My only plan with retirement sale shopping is to check and see if anything I have on my wishlist is being retired. I make those items my priorities.
Only the one item on my wishlist is being retired this year. I marked it as I love the colours and those papers.

Are you planning on shopping?
Yes!

Do you have a plan on how you will shop?
One thing at a time. I have to scrap with it before I can buy more.

Do you set a budget?
Nope

I do this too! I like to check my wishlist first.

But then I always browse the retirement sale and find things I just have to have!! Especially since monthly challenges let you use retired products, gotta get those cute kits!

I have no plan. I guess I'll look through my wish list to see if there's anything retiring.

I have no plan either.
I need to look through my stash and remove what's being retired. I usually put an X_ in front of the kit name.
I get sad when I see some long time favourites going.

Are you planning on shopping? Usually at least look at what is being retired.

Do you have a plan on how you will shop? I just look through the items also checking to see if any are on my wish list.

Do you set a budget? No.

Since I've been on a mission to use what is already in my stash, I don't buy as much unless I know I have photos to use with a kit. SWL templates are always my first choice of things to buy, never can have too many of them!

OK my burning question is "Is there a way to know from scrolling through my (unbelievably long) wishlist which products are in the retirement sale without clicking on each one and opening a bajillion tabs to check?"

As for @littlekiwi's questions:
Are you planning on shopping?
Generally I don't but then I'm curious to know what's on the way out and then i end up with a cart full

Do you have a plan on how you will shop?
My normal technique with retirement sales is to start from the front of the store and work forwards but this time i've started from the last page of the retirement sale category and i'm finding things i can't remember ever seeing before and it's kinda making me sad and feel old more than normal!! And I'm only on page 53 or 64 having started at 64 working backwards i feel like i've barely set foot in the store!
Like I unearthed these - I love @AllisonPennington 's Glitterbets in an inappropriately intense way that just doesn't seem logical for a bunch of pixels so I don't know how they slipped my radar

Do you set a budget?
I used to and I would rationalise some of it in that like a takeaway coffee cost the same as a kit and i was saving by not having the takeaway coffee! less caffeine plus a forever useable kit - win, win, right!?

Do you end up sticking to it?
Yeah let's not talk about that part...

I don't think so or at least I haven't found a way to solve that issue yet

No, I use the advanced search function. Put the kit name in the search box, set retirement sale in the categories.

Alternatively you could open up each product from your list and see if it's reduced or not.

Not that I know of. I usually just open my wishlist item by item, or I also have a habit of emailing it to myself, and then I can check by title.

Justine, I totally get missing awesome items in the store! I found these two beauties in the retirement sale - Allison's Kitteh alpha, and Paislee's Diptych kit!

you are enabling in the best way, i hadn't seen that alpha came in that rainbow shade!

I did get to use the Fluffy marshmallow Springaling alpha - i used it on a QuickPage in GIMP for todays (super long) blog post - it looks as good zoomed in as it does on the preview!

Are you planning on shopping?
Yes, I never miss a retirement sale
Do you have a plan on how you will shop?
I use the advanced search function and sort by specific designers.
Do you set a budget?
