Oooooh! Spring is showing signs of arriving around my part of Michigan (USA) this week and I am so excited to see it! Nevermind that the temperatures are going to plummet and go back to normal cold February temperatures in a day or so! I am also very excited to see the spring fun bursting from the soon to be released March BYOC that I used to create this month's fun calendar! What's coming up for everyone here that they are excited about? Here's a look at the happenings for March around TLP: created using soon-to-be-release March BYOC goodies. On March 9-10 my husband and I are having a little weekend getaway to attend the Highland County (Virginia) Maple Festival. Then, the following week is spring break. And on the 23rd, I'll be attending my third VegFest -- a festival of vegan vendors -- but for the first time locally. Prior events have each been an hour drive away. What happened to speed/slow scraps?
Sounds like some fun events to look forward too! I bet the Maple Festival smells amazing! We've taken a break from the monthly live events so we can focus on the forum events around here. There will still be fun live events for our parties like NSD, etc.
I agree with Cath . . . very sad. I guess the turnout was too low? I know I haven't been able to attend daytime ones since I started working my current job in 2021. But I tried to I attended the evening ones still. I really looked forward to reconnecting with my TLP friends. So are there going to be more forum events? LOD ends soon and I don't see anything for the rest of the month.
