The Christmas songs are playing in the stores again, and now my husband is singing this song over and over having reheard it in Sainsbury's

Joy's got a Christmas Carols album playing sung by Irish singers that sounds really nice.

What are you listening to at the moment? Is it a Christmas song or something else?
Do you have a favourite for this time of the year?

I like listening to a YouTube recording from the Hillsong London's 2014 Carol Concert - Drummer Boy. I absolutely love the way the drummers play for it. It really lifts me up when I'm feeling low. So much so that if I'm feeling depressed I'll play it - even if it's the middle of July.

I am just not into Christmas music yet... lately it's been rather eclectic for me... some 70s funk, some Indy stuff, The Cars, & The Police are all on my playlist. In head phones The Cars are just amazing. I am really surprised they were never bigger than they were - and just for the record... Benjamin Orr was a far better vocalist than Rick.... I know I am going off topic, but... it's true! LOL

I feel quite nostalgic recently and hubby and I enjoy listenning to the oldies... OMG! The 80's are the new oldies now! Gosh! Time flies lol
Joy thinks the 90s are the oldies - she was going through my pre-pregnancy gear looking for something 90s style for their old times dance in tomorrow's school show.

I am not a fan of Christmas music really at all. There are a few songs I like but still in small does lol
I have really been in to listening to the 70's channel on SiriusXM lately! I have even "tortured" my kids at school with it :giggle

I love Christmas music, well except for “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” … can’t stand that one. Thankfully I haven’t heard it on our “Christmas station” this year. “I want a Hippo” by Gayle Peevey is one of my faves. I was born in ‘53, but I never heard of the song until 15-20 years ago.

I bought Cher’s new “DJ Play A Christmas Song” and “Home” with Michael Bublé, plus “Sleigh Ride” and “Christmas C’mon” by Lindsey Stirling, from iTunes this past week.

I love your hippo layout!

I LOVE Christmas songs. My favorite Christmas Album is Alan Jackson's Let It Be Christmas. I love Elvis' Christmas album as well as Bing Crosby's. Besides Christmas music, my favorite artists right now are Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson. Generally, my playlist is kind of all over the place. I have some Elvis, Aerosmith, Miranda Lambert, 5 Finger Death Punch, Prince, Patsy Cline...

when I hear "oldies," I think of the Temptations "My Girl," "Pretty Women" by Roy Orbison, or "I Can't Help Myself" by the Four Tops, NOT music from the 80s! I do love my 80s music, though!

I haven't had much time to just sit and listen to music yet this month. Sometimes in the mornings on the weekend my hubby will play a Christmas station on the Alexa while we do some cleaning and chores. I also have flipped to the all Christmas station in the car a few times while running errands. Other than that I haven't listened to much Christmas music yet this year.

I love your hippopotamus layout Angela! It's so cute!

I've been like Olivia- Taylor Swift and Christmas music. I'm all over the place with Christmas music though. Christmas Wrapping by the Waitress, Lindsey Stirling, the piano guys Christmas songs, barenaked ladies Christmas cd, and some of the oldies from my childhood 'Suzy Snowflake', the littlest snowman, and Elmo & Patsy. Oh! I need to play bob rivers, haven't done that yet this year! 12 pains of Christmas here we come!

We are eclectic over here!

I listen to Christmas music by myself or with my middle child because we like it the most.

Do you have a favourite for this time of the year?
I like a lot of Christmas music but my favorites are Gwen Stefani (new) and John Denver & The Muppets (old).

I haven't really been listening to Christmas music yet, still in my Taylor Swift era! I have played Jason and Travis Kelce's Christmas song "The Fairytale of Philadelphia" quite a few times however! I loved the original song "The Fairytale of New York" by the Pogees, and feel like Travis and Jason did a great job at their version/remake. I love to listen to Pentatonix's Christmas songs, I just haven't quite gotten into Christmas music yet this year.
