I love a good cozy throw blanket for cuddling up on the couch when we watch tv! I have a bunch right now, but I don't really have a favorite that I reach for all the time. I just grab for which ever one is closest to me at the time.

So, I'm curious... Do you have a favorite blanket?

I do, it's a polar fleece pink blanket with white hearts I got back in 2003 I think. I was due to have major surgery and was gifted this blanket by family to have on my hospital bed. It's now much loved, falling to pieces and used every night on my bed.

I love blankets and quilts and throws. My favourite is a down-filled blue-green plaid throw, with a dark green fleece lining. It's so warm and cozy!

I don't really have a favorite but we have them all over the house. I usually buy them at Costco when on sale. They always have good deals on blankies. We live in them in the Winter. I even keep one at work. :giggle

My favorite blanket is the quilt my neighbors made me for my bridal shower. I sleep with it every night.

I tend to be a blanket holder. And have more than enough

But my favorites are a quilt my mother in law made me or this super soft one I got at aldi a few years back it is king sized one size is fuzzy and other like velvet soft ..it's soooo cozy smd on my bed like year round for snuggles has matching pillow cases

I do have a lovely cozy throw (just a small blanket) that I love for my old knees while watching tele - BUT it is in a box somewhere in the storage shed until our new place is ready to move into. I've certainly missed it this last winter - hope not to have to do another winter without it. :tu

I have loads of throw blankets, quilts, and a comforter. I do use them in winter when it's really cold, but during the summer months, if I get a chill I will use a single flat sheet folded over once. It's enough to keep me warm but not enough to make me sweat.

I have a problem when it comes to soft furnishings and especially throws and cushions. And they are the one thing I can't throw out because I've learnt that I miss them when I do eg I buy a cushion and realise a throw I used to have would go perfectly with it! So despite being a dedicated declutter, I have several bags of throws and pillows hidden in the cupboards ... :eyeroll

When my mom passed away a few years ago, some friends got me a minky blanket as a gift. I loved it so much my kids nicknamed it "the fifth child". We ended up getting everyone in the family one for Christmas the following year because they are the best blankets! Pricey but worth it, I think they make great gifts. We get them from Minky Couture.

I don't have any favourites. I have lap quilts scattered around the house. Joy persuaded Dad to get her a huge fluffy one a few Christmases back, and that is definitely still her favourite. She'll even snuggle with it in the summer.

We have eighty-jillion blankets at our house. :giggle I have one favorite that I crocheted out of lightweight cotton yarn that is my go-to in the summer, spring and fall. Then I have another one that is fat cozy yarn for the winter. My hubby tries to steal both of them all the time, so I made him his own! Ha!

My go to blanket is the one my grandmother crocheted for me when I was in high school.

BUT... I'm in the market for the warmest/coziest blanket out there. Has anyone used a heated throw? We live in a loft condo in an over 100 year old building with huge windows (oh and we're in Chicago too)... my favorite tv watching couch spot is near the windows and it is cold at times!

I have lots of throw blankets in the house. On the couch in my office are 3. 2 are actual throws, the other one is a snuggie. Right now one of them is on the floor with Peyton laying on it! She loves to toss them around on (and off) the couch and snuggle under neath them.

My favorites even though I don't use them are afghans that my mother knitted in the 80's. I've got several of them, some of which were well used back in those days. These days they are displayed on a quilt rack and a chair. The one Mom made in the colors I requested has some stitches coming out so it is safely stored away. Because of the knit pattern, dog paws are not good for these. Once I don't have a dog, I will probably use them again.

With winter just coming, my heated blanket is always close by!! I have one in my bed and always on the couch beside me. Otherwise, it's just whatever is close by

That sounds so super cozy!!!

I love the look and feel of down-filled throws, but I am so allergic!

I have them all over the house as well and people steal them all the time to carry to other rooms. I never know which one is where lol

I love quilts!! It sounds lovely!

Oh man! The struggles of moving! I hope you have it back soon!!

I have some super thin throws for the summer and when it's warm and I want to catch a quick nap. I can't sleep without something on top of me.

I totally get it!! I am a dedicated declutter-er too, but I have trouble getting rid of throws and pillows!

I've seen lots of influencers push Minky, but I never knew for sure if they were worth it! So glad to hear from someone who has one!

That's sweet! Sometimes there is nothing like a good snuggle, even in the summer!!

Same here with the eighty-jillion! lol But what I don't have is a great crocheted one!!

I love "The Big One" throws from Kohl's https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-6...h-throw-blanket.jsp?prdPV=2&isClearance=false

I have a bunch of them and a couple twin size ones too.
I have several blankets from Kohl's. That seems to be my go-to place for blankets!

I have a few heated throws that I got from Kohl's, but it seems like they just don't last. They were pretty inexpensive ones. The blankets themselves hold up fine, but they stop heating. I'd love to find a great one as well!

I have a new puppy who loves my throw blankets lol She sleeps on one by my bed every night!

I need a good heated blanket and/or throw!! Where did you find yours? I have a few that I got from Kohl's but they stopped heating after the first year or so of use :(

@IntenseMagic I got mine from Costco...I've had it for 3 years now, I think...and it's still working well. I have had 2 that stopped working, but I just bring them back and get a new one
