Dan bought an insta pot recently after our slow cooker broke. Still learning how to use it at the moment. Thanks for the tips.
I have a Multi-cooker- like an instant pot, pressure cooker and a slow cooker in one (or is that what an instant pot is?) Bart uses a croak pot and you don't want his recipe recommendations - ick!
kiss i think ?? i made a turkey roast with garden phili cream cheese, unknown wher manual for crockpot is for this recipe. it was so tender
I use my mom's hand me down 1970s crock pot! One of our easy favorites is Salsa Chicken. 2 Chicken Breasts 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup 1 cup Salsa Taco Seasoning (honestly, I just shake some in from a can now - you can use a lot or a little to adjust taste) Cook on low 6 hours (we do longer. I toss it all in before heading to work). Then turn off crock pot. Shred chicken with a couple of forks and stir mixture together. Add 1/2 cup of sour cream and stir well. We serve it over brown rice (Boil in Bag is easy 10min) in a bowl or sometimes put entire mixture into tortillas to make burritos. You can top with cheese, more sour cream, etc - anything you might want to add to tacos or burritos.
Suuuper easy... Meatball Sandwiches 1 bag of meatballs 1 jar of marinara Favorite hoagie rolls and mozzarella cheese Easy Mandarin Chicken (I usually let the chicken cook in some broth instead of in the crockpot alone) https://thefrugalgirls.com/2013/06/easy-crockpot-pineapple-chicken-recipe.html
Oooh! Great idea! My son would absolutely love these! I added this to this week's menu. Do you throw the meatballs and marinara in the crock pot? I assume I could do that on low for about 4 hours? I'm thinking I could throw that together at lunch and it would be ready for dinner. ETA: found this recipe. Says frozen meatballs and sauce in crock pot for 4 hours on high.
Yep...dump both things in the crockpot. It really doesn't take long at all. My husband and son will have sandwiches for a few days.
