So, show me yours... or your suggestions! I want black... but like colors too, and when I do find something I like, I like to buy a couple colors. lol! Not super fancy. East, comfortable, and not too expensive. I think I paid for mine now around $25-30. I love my Sanuks, and they've lasted... I'd love to get a couple summers out of them. I wear them all the time, not just summer, occasionally during the year too. I got my current favs at the beach shop by my mom, and they are Sanuks. Comfy, cushioned, and have lasted. I'm on summer 3.... I have also gotten some from Costco on the fly... and those were great too... but I lost one. Booooo.... Show me yours? I'm open on brands too!
I am a fancy flip flop chick. My preference are Yellow Box flip flops. They are super comfortable and are long lasting. I wear flip flops year round. I love that these are dressy and I can get away with them for most occasions. This is the latest pair I've purchased: Cali Vinyasa Happy Spring by Skechers. They have a yoga mat bottom and are super comfortable. I can't speak to longevity, but so far, they are working out great. If I had any reservation, it would be that they make a squeaking noise when they get wet (you know, from a rainy day). It's no fun to be squelching along . . .
My choice goes to Fit Flops… I have already worn out several pairs…and wear them year in and year out…(unless I have very cold feet in winter) I find them very comfortable.. and they have a non-slip rubber sole.
Can't recommend any since I don't wear them. Give me sandals with a strap on the back so I don't walk out of them.
I get that! Do you wear crocs with the strap on the back pulled down? DH is the only one in our house who can and does wear crocs, lol!
I like the classic Crocs flip flops. They’re not pretty but they’re good for my feet. I might have to try some of the suggestions above though for some cuter flip flops!
Nope. Never liked crocs either. I had one pair but they were like a ballet slipper. My feet hurt when I wore them. I'm a Dr. Scholl's shoes girl for almost 30 years. I have some sandals from Dr. Scholl's that I really like... so much that I bought several pairs in both black and brown!
I used to get these, but they started to hurt my feet. I don't know if they tweaked the dimensions, but the "buttons" that hold the top to the bottom on hurt my feet in those spots! They were so cheap and so many colors !
I mostly wear Old Navy flip flops, but I have pair of Clark's that I wear when I need to "dress up." They come in lots of colors. https://www.zappos.com/p/clarks-breeze-sea-black-synthetic/product/8079992/color/973
I just get the cheap ones from Target. I only wear them down to mailbox because I have a 70 foot asphalt driveway that can get very hot in the summer. Also, occasionally, I wear them to a pool. So they last me many years. I stopped wearing sandals in 2017 after developing plantar fasciitis in my left foot, probably, I suspect, because I walked in very flat sandals for a couple of miles on city streets one day. I just keep wearing my lightweight Skechers sneakers all summer for errands and my hiking shoes for my walks/hikes.
I am a Vionic flip-flop girl, but they are not cheap. I got my first pair when I had plantar fasciitis. I wore them around the house instead of going barefoot. It cleared it right up. They are the only flip-flops I can wear.
My favorite forever! So comfy...easily my favorite sandals behind my Birkenstocks! I love them so much... Teva!!
I used to have a pair of plain brown Reef flip-flops that I loved. They were just plain but comfy and I had them for years. I could have cried when they broke, especially since Reef doesn't make them anymore. A few summers ago I bought these plain black ones from Nike. They are comfortable and durable. I wear them all the time and they are easy to wash in some dish soap. https://www.nike.com/t/bella-kai-womens-flip-flops-ZzpVrK/AO3622-001
I don't do flip flops because I want something I trust when walking the dogs. I prefer Chacos. I've been wearing them for years (and it's quite obvious on Sundays when I wear sandals that aren't Chacos). The ones I have now are black but these are the ones I want next.
