Snow Much Fun | Pad Patter 2.23.23

Gloves for me, but we have not had one single day this winter that I needed anything on my hands, other than a couple days at Christmas when we lost power with single digits. I really only wear them if I'm outside with kids or shoveling and I have not had to shovel, sweep, or even touch a flake of snow this year. Best winter ever lol!
I love your "shovel, sweep, or touch a flake" haha lucky you!

We have barely gotten any “good” snow storms yet this year. But we did get a dusting this morning.

I used to love mittens because they kept my fingers warmer, but now I always wear gloves that I keep in the pockets of my winter coat. They have a touch of grippy stuff on the fingertips which helps with driving.

I have never worn gloves for driving but I don’t have any grippy ones so it’s probably for the best haha

I use gloves for driving (mine are grippy ones). But for watching football outside (in the fall, we sometimes have games in the snow), mittens, with hot-shots in each hand to keep warm!

(P.S. we've had -40C wind chill weather here this past week, and it doesn't matter whether you wear mittens or gloves in that kind of weather, you are going to be cold!)

Mittens with hot-shots sounds like a great plan.

Your below freezing weather this week sounds terrible Heather! I hope you're able to stay in and stay warm!

No snow here in the middle of NC this winter. Ok, some flakes fell but melted before they hit the ground. We are in Spring now. I mowed the lawn yesterday. Daffodils are blooming, but we are going back down to the 50s/40s for the next week except for a few 70s days.

Answer to your question - gloves. I got some Merino wool ones and boy are they nice when walking the dog in 25F cold but no snow weather we had in December/January.

I am not looking forward to mowing the lawn...

I think my sister uses Merino wool to make her mittens. I can't decide if I prefer my cold days with snow or without snow.

Cold days with snow is better. I will say though we do have lots of sunshine during the winter instead of just grey after grey. I grew up in the Midwest and I don't miss the winters.

we got a dusting of snow, but nothing much. it was just another winter day in Ohio.
I'm definitely a gloves girl. Mittens are super cute, but i feel a million percent disfunctional in them!! LOL

lol I haven't worn mittens for so long that I can't remember what they're like!

Kinda both - 'cause I'm snapping pictures often my iPhone, I use fingerless gloves. But...sometimes all of my fingers need to be covered. So I found a pair with a flap...a mitten portion that goes over the fingers. :agree

I didn't think about this fingerless option for helping with my phone. I keep trying the fingers that are supposed to work on phones and don't.

Ha! I have a few those too! Nope, they do not work as well as fingers.
