Presidents/Leaders | Pad Patter Feb 20

I guess Nixon is the one I remember being President first. I do remember some of the Vietnam war footage with Johnson as President, though. My first voting election was Reagan's first term. Was not a Carter fan, but when I worked for a cruise line I did help his travel agent with their reservations which included having to book a security room for the Secret Service agents. Was fun being "in the know."
 
@gonewiththewind and I must be very close to the same age. The first President I remember is President Carter. I was 10 years old and so wanted him to beat Reagan. I remember working to convince both my parents to vote for Carter. The first election I voted in was 1988. I was so excited to be able to vote that I registered to vote six months in advance.

I continue to be a huge Carter fan and am so sad he now has in home hospice care. One of my bucket list items was to attend the Sunday School class he taught regularly. Now I will never have an opportunity to do so.

Yes! We are the same age! I was born in 1970. :)
