My son headed back last weekend so we miss him. And as soon as he got to school, his girlfriend of over a year broke up with him. So, it's been a rocky return. Hope your daughter's is happier!

My kiddo had his Scholastic Bowl tournament yesterday at 8am. They were calling for snow here, and if we couldn't get out the whole team would have to forfeit...so we went to the town the tournament was in after work Friday and had a little hotel adventure haha. It also meant we didn't have to get up as early. Today, I've got to catch up on cleaning and laundry...and scrapping! I'm so thrilled to have the day off tomorrow!

Finally got all my Christmas totes put away after our crawl space flooded on New Years Day. Still have a few other totes to find new storage places for (we are NOT using our crawl space anymore. Learned our lesson!). We are leaving on a trip this week so I need to get our luggage out and start packing. Get caught up laundry. Scrapbook.

That sounds like a fun adventure but it's pretty nice to have a day off too!

Sorry to hear about the flooding -- that's always a pain. Well, I’m a little late to this party since the weekend is over! But we had a BUSY but great weekend!
Last week my daughter and I started a huge project… we decided to switch her room to the guest room and then use her current room as a shared art/office space. It is most definitely a work in progress, but we spent much of Saturday working on that. My parents came to get the guest bedroom suit because my mom wanted to keep it, so we got to visit with them for a bit. And then Sunday my daughter had a lacrosse clinic at the university she will be attending next year where she will be playing lacrosse for them. So my husband, who is home from Canada for the weekend, got to go with us and see the campus for the first time. It was a long day, but it was very enjoyable! We even had sunshine for our campus tour!
