January 4 - Re-scrap a Page

Love this challenge - there's definitely a few I could pick. I went for this one I completed for a Speed Scrap:

And here is my redo <3:

Thanks for the challenge! :)

Journaling : When you were little, you were so complicit, as much for nonsense than for hugs.

Hi @SeattleSheri I'm struggling with this. The bulk of my pages have journaling already and, if they haven't, it's likely because I can't remember the details anyway. Can I tell a totally new story using the same photo/s?

For example, I have a page of my daughter with high school friends called 'friends forever', however they aren't friends any longer. She hasn't had any contact with them since high school. Can I re-journal around why this is and how she has created new, and longer lasting relationships, since, but using the same photo.

Another example would be a photo of me on my hen night, full of joy and happiness and hope for the future. Over 30 years later and I'm getting divorced and I hardly remember nor recognise the young, carefree girl I was back then. Could I journal this new perspective using the same photo.

@fruitysuet Even though you tagged me, I didn't get a notification! So weird. Anyway, sorry you're struggling with this challenge. Telling the story from a new perspective is absolutely the spirit of this challenge. You can see from some of the pages posted, there is quite a wide interpretation of what that means. I probably should have named this challenge retelling your story. You can also choose a newer page where the details might be fresher in your mind.

@SeattleSheri, thank you for the opportunity to re-scrap this page. It has always been too busy; I like the simplified version much better. :)

Re-scrapped page:

I have this friend (no, it's not myself! LOL!) who literally rescraps every album multiple times. I've watched her do it for years. I think it's her excuse for missing deadlines. Anyway, I always vowed *not* to be that person. So this one wasn't easy! I'm not saying each of my pages is perfect, but they are done - and sometimes that's better.

Here's my rescrap! I like my added journaling. I think I want to hybridize the original with this one in some way, but in the spirit of rescrapping, I didn't go that direction (plus I'm not entirely sure I have the original psd file with me to do it.)

Thanks for the challenge!! These adorable pics wouldn't have gotten the pretty page they deserved without it! :)
