January 4 - Re-scrap a Page

wow, what a fabulous challenge Sherri.
Here's my original layout from a set of pages about an adventure to Lake Vyrnwy.

My re-scrap focuses on my husband. All the photos take at the same adventure. The left-hand blended photo on my new page is on the left page of the previous spread.

The photos should be taken at the same time and be of the same "event". The spirit of this challenge is to tell the story of the photos in your original layout by either adding the story behind them or giving more details, so any additional photos should support that intent (vs. a comparison of something new). I hope that helps!!

I wanted to make my re-scrap a companion page to the original and would include at least 1 of the 3 photos on the page but also use photos taken just 1 hour later of the same thing showing how fast the snow was melting. Is this OK?

Journaling: This photo is probably taken in 1922 in Gooik (Belgium).
You see the children of Victor Lebacq & Florentina Vandersmissen: Madeleine, Gustaaf, Céline & Louis.
In the front are sitting: Florentina Vandersmissen and Cyriel Maertens and their son Jozef.
Louis Lebacq is mijn grandfather and Cyriel Maertens is his stepfather.

Started ambitiously and enchousiasticly, two years later it's still unfinished. Oops

I tried to have a similar feel, so I used on of the same kits and a similar layout.
