Show Us Your Christmas Tree | Pad Patter 12.7

Why don't you just put up a small maybe 2 feet tall tree that can go on a table? That's what we did when my parents went to Florida for the winter leaving the day after Thanksgiving. I was still here but always went down for a week over Christmas. The small tree was nice since it was some decoration but not a whole lot of work. Actually, I still use these trees over 25 years later!

That's actually a brilliant idea and I'm not sure why I didn't think of it. I'm going to see if I can find a small one at a decent price and then plan on passing it down to an apartment dwelling offspring next year!

Well, I got my tree assembled last night. Only the stand and 3 sections, but the sections were fairly heavy and awkward to hold. Now I need to shape the branches. Oh well, baby steps!

And I'm soooo glad I ordered a "slim" tree ... this tree is much wider at the bottom than my former one was in spite of being the same height (6.5'). I guess that's the difference between a cheap WM tree and a Balsam Hill one!

It's gorgeous!! I love that rose gold color! I really want a 2nd tree in our bedroom, and I'd definitely love to do a color scheme like this. :heartlub

I'm really loving the tree photos. We leave next week and won't be back until Christmas Eve and not all of my kids can come home for Christmas, so I'm struggling with the idea of dragging everything out. Maybe I will after looking at these!
I agree, do a mini tabletop tree. I think Walmart has them for $10. That's what my boys have in their room. They're perfect size!

Our tree is large and fluffy, but doesn't need much fluffing, thank goodness. The slim tree I got for our office needed LOTS of fluffing. That was the hardest part! LOL. So much work for such a skinny tree.

I got a 3 foot pre-lit tree at Wal-Mart yesterday. They also had 2 foot pre-lit trees but I already have 3 of that size.

Your trees are Gorgeous!!! I do two trees (my daughter does a small one for her room too!) Our main tree is in the living room & is totally SNOWFLAKE themed with sparkles, glitter, blues/pinks/purples! I do another mini tree in my office- it's a white tree & rainbow themed! It's my new favorite! I keep adding ornaments as I find more of the right color- orange is tough one! ;)

I think I need a better pic of the rainbow tree but here's when I was finished decorating in November:

Omigosh. They're both beautiful!! The rainbow tree is so fun!

My tree is so different, but I love it. It's made of driftwood and really fits my style since moving to the beach. I made almost all the ornaments, including the topper and the skirt. And Molly sitting in front of it with all her presents make it even more special.

That is SO cool. I love it! All the ornaments look so unique and the starfish topper. Just amazing. And Molly is a doll!
