If you were going to reorganize.....

i sure wont be ready, even in 5 years

something i have been doing is after download i hit title, to go back to main kit page, then drag the Http address to kit or download folder drive window. that saves a url, times need to rename it, but later to click it, kit comes up in browser or error if not in store

Since you are time crunched, once you decide on a new organizational plan, only move your kits to the new plan as you use them. So if you open a kit to use it, move it then. If you put off scrapping until all is organized, you may feel overwhelmed and not get to scrap.

I will never, ever tag again because I have lost all my tags once and all the hours I spent doing it. I also realized I did not use the tags as much as I thought. I like to organize things - but I like to scrap more. You may need to decide which you like better. It is okay to be a collector of kits- that is what I have been lately.

That is really smart! I love that you add a link to the kit in the folder itself.

That is a fabulous idea! I love the idea of only moving to the new thing once you've done what you want organizationally with it.

and if that all goes well, I might create a temporary folder of more recent purchases that I know are still in the store to try to limit my supply stash for MOC. It probably won’t keep me from searching my entire stash during MOC, but I can try.

This is what I would do. I would copy the previews of the latest kits I bought into a folder so I can see what I have that is in the store. I would also add a preview of a kit that I end up checking for another reason.

Or, just use the Visual History to grab supplies from for the time being.
