Calling all Blurb folks... I have a friend who is working on ordering on 12x12 Blurb book with almost 300 pages and is wanting to order layflat pages, but we can't tell if they have two levels of layflat pages like Shutterfly does. She wants the type of layflat where the pages are creased to reduce the gutter, not the super thick ones like Shutterfly's premium layflat where the pages are super thick. With 300 pages, the premium type layflat pages would make that book way too heavy and thick. Does anyone know what kind of layflat pages Blurb does?

Nevermind... After I posted I found what I needed in their FAQs. They have a limit of 110 pages and use the ultra thick type with each page glued to the one behind it.

What is a Layflat photo book?
Layflat books can open totally flat without damaging the binding. Each page spread (e.g. pages 2 and 3) is formed from one continuous sheet of paper, making this format perfect for panoramic photos. Page spreads are glued back to back with a thin insert, so each page is ultra thick. Learn more.

Tell her to wait for Black Friday. They offer all photobooks 50% off on that day. I'm desperately trying to get 2017 & 2018 ready to print. I'm looking for that action that trims, flattens, and puts gets them ready. If you know of one, I'd love to hear about it! But regardless, she will save a ton of money by waiting.

Yes! Thank you. I got an email with a black friday preview sale on Thursday I think, so I told her that they were probably going to do their 50% off thing on black friday again this year, so she's frantically trying to finish her 2020 book this weekend. :agree

I don't know of an action like that, but you could probably record one. I have one that I made after I save my fullsized jpg that resizes it down for uploading to the gallery. It is kinda funny now that I think about it that I've never made one to save the full sized .jpg though. Maybe I'll make one and then I can share. I'll tag ya if I do.

I sure do. Do they have something to import my tiff layouts to export to Blurb?

I did a Lightroom series a few years ago, and I **think** I talked about the book module then, but I have no idea which video it's in. LOL If you are interested in viewing, you can find those videos here: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/lightroom-from-workflow-to-wow-videos.44963/
