I’m helping coach my daughter’s basketball team so sports are on my mind.

What sport do you like to play? What sport do you like to watch? What sport is the most confusing to you?

I like to play volleyball, basketball and softball.

I don’t like to watch golf.

Pickleball scoring is very confusing to me.

I like to hike. :D

I only enjoyed watching my brother's Little League games (back in the 1980's) and my son's preschool soccer classes (c. 2011).

I briefly tried Pickleball last summer and I agree with you that the scoring was very confusing. I didn't even play long enough to begin to try understanding it.

Not very interested in sports. Especially doing it myself. I do watch sports at times, but not as much now as I used to. Now it's mainly when it's The Olympics or world championships, that I bother to watch. Ice hockey and soccer most of the time. Track&Fields and curling at times.

Most confusing sport? Easy! Cricket! So weird it's insane. When we were in Manchester in 2013, there was some kind of huge championship (world or commonwelth, not sure), and the hotel we stayed at had a sports bar. There was this lady (70+) who sat there every night, completely obsessed, screaming words we'd never heard, and making lots of weird hand gestures all the time. Absolutely amazing to watch her. LOL

I've never been athletic but many years ago I did enjoy bowling. Bowled on leagues for about 10 to 12 years. I quit before I had shoulder problems but now probably couldn't even lift the ball to throw it. My dad and his brothers had family picnics on the 3 summer holidays when I was growing up. Each house had a volleyball net (including ours) and they played with barn yard rules (anything goes!). I never played. My uncles and cousins were rough and I was so short that I'd get knocked over so I gave up quickly (and again the not athletic thing).

I love watching college football. My cousin's son plays in Div III and due to the pandemic, the games are streamed so I'm able to watch them. Those boys truly enjoy their experience putting their all into it even though they know they will never make the "big league". Love that!

Never saw the appeal of golf even though my parents loved it. Also never got into any type of racquet sport. I tried tennis as a kid and that racquet was not used after maybe 5 lessons. Just didn't make sense to me.

I've never really played any sport. Oh, except that I was on the cross country team for a year in high school: I guess that counts as a sport? :D

I like watching hockey. And also, believe it or not, curling. And I like watching some of the Olympic sports, esp. swimming and track & field.

I don't like watching baseball: I find it too slow, and I don't understand the rules. On the other hand, I don't understand the rules of basketball either. But every time I watch a basketball game, I think "What a great game! I should watch more basketball..." :lol

I love sports! I played volleyball in school, but I really enjoy playing most sports. I'm not even remotely good at any of them, but it's still fun.
As far as watching... football, basketball, and baseball are my favorites. My son's track meets get kind of long and boring to watch sometimes (he throws shot put and discus) because there is a lot of standing around. Golf is probably my least favorite to watch and there are a few obscure ones that confuse me. I agree with the pickleball scoring.

I like to hike too. Sadly my husband and kids do not so I rarely go.

I know absolutely nothing about cricket but I’m definitely a people watcher so I would’ve enjoyed watching that lady haha

I love that you bowled in leagues for so long. I’m lucky if I break 100 while bowling.

Cross country definitely counts! I am not a runner so I admire those who are.

I agree that track meets get boring; they were even boring when I was doing the events!

Pro football is my favorite although I'm not fanatical about it. I like hockey (hubby is Canadian so it's required :lol) but only watch occasionally. I do really enjoy learning about and watching the obscure olympic sports when they roll around every 2/4 years.

What sport do you like to play? Slowpitch Softball
What sportS do you like to watch? My daughter's Softball, Son's Hockey, Women's college softball, NFL football & NHL hockey
What sport is the most confusing to you? Tennis- the scoring is so confusing.

I was fanatical about pro football when I was little but I haven’t watched a single game since then.

Tennis scoring confuses me too! My friends all played in high school and tried to teach me but it never stuck.

We aren't huge sports watchers over here. Sometimes we'll watch football, that's about it.

My kids don't play any organized sports. They have in the past. Volleyball was always fun to watch.
My son does do archery, I guess that counts!

I enjoy playing sports just for fun...volleyball, football, basketball, tennis.

I am definitely not very coordinated or sportsy. When asked to play sports I say "I have other talents" :rofl I did run track in high school and joked even then about the only sport I could do is run in a circle. :giggle I did play softball with some coworkers many years ago for a few years. I wasn't great at that either, but it was fun for socializing and the cheeseburgers afterwards.

I don't mind watching sports with my hubby, but I never turn any on myself. I used to love watching hockey when I was in college and our team was really good. We had a group of friends that went to every game.

Way too uncoordinated/unfit to play anything now days. When I was younger I was in my high school curling team, ten pin bowling league and pétanque team. Hoping to get back into pétanque if possible once I’ve relocated for recreational reasons.

I follow a local basketball league (Australian/New Zealand) often and rugby occasionally depending on the teams.

Cricket would be the most boring and confusing game to me.

I am not too athletic at all. Although I did swim in school and was a quite good swimmer. I was also on the color guard.

As for sports I like to watch.. not many. I do watch my kids play... otherwise I enjoy figure staking .. gymnastics and swimming

Sports I don't understand .. ones I'm not around like cricket or polo......
