My son is home from college with his girlfriend so yesterday we went to the aquarium together and went out for a nice dinner with the whole family. I also did a little photography for a photography workshop I'm taking which involved some storm chasing and almost getting struck by lightning! So, that was maybe a little too exciting. Today, I'm sticking closer to home, catching up on laundry and stuff around the house.

Anyhooooo, what are you doing this weekend??????

Sounds like a good weekend for you minus the lightning haha

My kids are out of school for a few days so we’re going to visit the in-laws and hopefully swim in their pool one last time before it’s too cold.

I've been cramming on trying to get my son's Boy Scout album completed so I can get it off to the printer to get it back in time for Christmas. Thankfully my husband just returned from his scout camping weekend so he can help me with the stuff I don't know. (I thought he'd "retire" from scouting when our son aged out, but NOoooo... he's been Scoutmaster ever since and I think is in it for life.)

Selling wedding stuff.. and hanging with the husband. ..getting over a nasty double ear infection

Went shopping with my "girls" yesterday and we're having dinner here this evening.

We've been out of town since about mid-day Friday. We're on the college tour lol. We've been to three open houses so far, with a few more to go. Today, I'm playing catch up on everything!!

House and yard work. Ran my grandson over to his GF’s earlier today, am picking him up in about an hour.

Resting in my new electric recliner, reading, cross stitching, watching true crime shows and The Golden Girls + some old movies on TCM. Plus doing laundry, cooking, cleaning up the kitchen, chatting with Jay and Daniel.

Photo walk today with a naturalist group at a park I've never been to, then home to binge Handmaid's Tale and now I'll have dinner followed by hot tub before getting into jammies and binging a few more episodes before bed.

Housework....been tidying the house as we have the annual local council inorganic pickup from the 25th and true to form my mum and I have left it to the last minute to deal with. Today (Monday), I am on my own again so have been working this morning and now I hope to be able to scrap but I think ultimately I'll end up resting before too long as sitting at my computer for too long gets painful

I’m happy to announce that I’ve completed my son’s scouting album! My husband just has to write the journaling for two of the big high venture events, then I’ll look over everything once last time and get it uploaded off to print. Woohoo! I’m so excited and relieved!

Saturday was spent watching college football. My cousin's son plays for a small college and they stream their games so I watch them online. Saturday's game went in OT... 3 times! The right team ended up winning after being behind most of the game. But that game was 3.5 hours! Then the OT games and nail biters on TV after that.

Yesterday was way more relaxing although I did attend an online video session on using Paint Shop Pro. This has been the 5th month she has done these Q & A's. Very informative.

Glad your team won -- nothing like sitting through a long game only to lose. :lol Did you hear about the Seattle Mariners playoff game on Saturday -- 18 innings! And then they lost 1-0 to the Astros. Their fans must have been seriously bummed.

YAY! glad you got it done! That's always such a great feeling!

I'm always cleaning at the last minute so I can relate!

This sounds amazing! I keep looking for groups to do photo walks around here but so far have not found any that meet consistently.

My oldest, who is in college but lives at home (it's only about a 40 minute commute so she's saving lots of $$$), is on fall break so naturally, she leaves with one of her sisters to visit friends in Kentucky. The rest of us did some things around the house. Then the boys flew RC planes and the girls went skating at our local park. On Sunday afternoon we all went to a local fundraiser.
