January 18: All black or all white with B/W photo

@amandac If the element I'm using is black with a tiny bit of colour, can I use desaturate and make it completely black, or do I need to only use an element that is originally totally black in the kit(s) I'm using?
Hi Angela, its fine to desaturate the tiny bit of colour out of your element. I would rather only small instances of desaturation where possible... so your tiny bit makes me happy :)

ok everyone, I'm off to bed (its late here down under) but I will be back first thing in the morning to answer any more questions and start leaving love on all your fabulous pages! They are looking stunning so far!!

This was like a treasure hunt through my digistash! :D

I lightened up the already white paper even more than it already was -- is it white enough?

I lost count of how many elements I used; it's well over 10. There are doodles, brads, sequins, ribbon, ricrac, snowflakes, frame, paint, gesso, beads, etc. I even managed to sneak in some journaling in white. :)

Black or white? That is the question now. Going to be an interesting challenge whichever way I go I think.

@amandac just wondering if I can use more than one piece of paper... like paper strips? and would they count as extras or can they be part of the 10 elements?

Well that was fun! What a great way to start back up with MOC after a weekend in CO :) I never get to scrap snow pages so this was perfect!!!

I have 17 elements and 1 paper.
elements: ink, bokeh/scatter, 1 frame, 1 button, 1 ribbon, 1 heart, 11 snowflakes
