MOC - one week in!

LOL! My baby is 1 year old now and definitely doesn't sit still anymore when nursing (talk about being a pro at that - seriously, the newborn phase passed too quickly!). But sometimes I get to scrap on my phone as well, so that's a plus.

Oh this brings back memories. I remember nursing my youngest (almost 16 now) as a newborn with one hand when I started doing digi, while trying to scrap with the other hand. :giggle Hope your baby cooperates.

I didn't even THINK to take a picture.

I had the same thought after I dropped my laptop by accident and broke my charger, should have taken some sort of photo and never did after it happened

Those toddlers are definitely busy. I remember when Chase (now 24) was little and I paper scrapped, I would give him some scrap paper and punches to keep him busy while I scrapped. Aspen (now 21) was a different story. She loved to cut with the scissors and could cut better than most adults as a one year old. She still cuts better than anyone I know... maybe that's why she wants to go to hair school. :giggle I did have to hide my scissors when she was younger because she cut a neighbor girls hair... ooops!

Hoping that my baby will permit her mama spend some scrappy time!

I hope your sweet baby cooperates, @zakirahzakaria!

I am one layout behind (which is actually pretty good for me: I'm usually at least 3 or 4 layouts behind!...). The one I haven't even started yet is the Day 4 Photo blend challenge. I'm excited to try @FarrahJobling's blending technique, but the thing is: I need to get off the couch, and just go outside to take a new photo. But we're under lockdown here again in Ontario as Omicron rips through the province; and I'm really feeling the January-plus-COVID blahs; and, also, it's just really, really cold out there (up here, 20 degrees Fahrenheit is considered a little bit nippy, but not all that bad. It is currently 10 degrees Fahrenheit).

Here's an idea, she didn't say the photo had to be taken outside, just a new photo, so maybe you could take a photo inside of what you're doing during lockdown (foods you're eating, shows you're watching, where you're working or hanging out at home). I'm currently moving files and setting up a computer so maybe I'll take a photo of that... who knows, but It's too cold here so I don't think I'll take an outside photo anytime soon unless I bundle up.

I'm feeling good about this week - got 'em all done so far! I had the blended photo layout all done with a not-new photo as a place holder and waited overnight because the forecast was for snow starting early morning. As soon as possible, it was step outside the front door, snap a photo, and get back inside. :)

I've managed to do one a day so I'm caught up. Loving all the challenges! It's been a while since I scrapped consistently so it's been a great motivator.

I'm caught up as of right now ... right about when another challenge could be posted (depending on time zones lol)

Just finished the 7th! Now on the see the 8th. I got a bit behind starting on day 6 because work got crazy again. But the weekend helps. I'm leaving town this coming Friday and then will be out of commission again the following weekend, so fingers crossed I can keep up when I don't have 2 weekends coming up at the end of the month to do any catch up!!

I'm so glad everyone is having fun! I can't believe we've completed a week already! I still have to finish yesterdays page and then todays. I'm planning on sorting pictures and getting organized today too. My EHD is in need of some organizing badly! :giggle

I can edit photos & organize files this way, but I need my other arm for scrapping since I'm addicted to shortcut keys & stuff! HA! At least she doesn't get mad when I try! The 2 year old on the other hand HATES me on the computer.

Yep, that does get tricky with the shortcuts and one hand... right click is your friend, just saying! :agree Oh, the things we'll do to get our scrappin time... :giggle

This is a great idea, and I may end up going in that direction. However, this afternoon I DID go outside and take a few photos!...so, we'll see.

I am really enjoying MOC10!

I am three days behind…it’s ok though. I am making pages that I want versus just getting them done to finish the challenge. I’m not stressed yet.
