Christmas lights | pad patter 12.7.21

We do colored lights outside. My tree actually automatically switches/cycles between color lights and white lights... I *LOVE* this feature, because we all have different opinions in this house and I feel like it's a wonderful compromise.

We have white lights on the tree and outside we have a combination of white and red lights. I haven't changed that up in many years.

Had to laugh at this. My house was built in 1956, it is not 2021 electronics friendly. If my microwave is running and my washer starts the spin cycle there goes the circuit breaker.

I hear you on that but mine's not quite that bad. About 10 years ago I blew a breaker in the bathroom using my hair dryer and had to get an electrician on a Sunday. The fuse box was so old, they couldn't actually fix it but did get it to work until I could get someone in to replace my fuse box. My issue now is that I don't have enough electric plugs and most of them are not grounded so use adapters like those in that photo. I tried to get an electrician here last summer to fix all of them but they were too busy with new house builds to do it. And, I won't have it done during the winter since I'm electric heat and they will have to turn the electric off to do it, possibly taking a whole day. Gonna try again this next summer.
