The star is one of the most popular symbols associated with the Christmas season. The use of stars as Christmas decoration and symbol can be traced to the events that occurred during Jesus’ birth.
So, I thought it would be fun to use stars on our page this month.
Please choose at least two of the following options to incorporate into your page:
1. Create a frame for your photo with stars here is a recent tutorial https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/diy-frames-dyd2021.80326/ you could also frame your page with a series of stars
2. Use 5 stars on your page
3. Journal in/on a star shape
4. Make/use star scatter on your page
5. Use a star shape in your alpha (Must be an alpha, not a font) in place of a letter
6. Go wild and fill your page with stars (at least 50% of the page)
Since December is a time of year where traditions come into play, Kim will be drawing an EXTRA $10 coupon from a page that scraps a favorite holiday tradition. Tell us about this tradition in your journaling on your page.
Rules:
Use at least 75% Kim Jensen Designs product (current or retired from TLP) to create your layout meeting the criteria listed above.
Upload your layout to the Kim Jensen gallery. Please include your credits.
Post your layout to this thread and link to your gallery post.
Layouts must be new for this challenge and cannot be combined with other challenges.
All layouts must be posted by 11:59pm Pacific Time, December 31, 2021.
Prizes:
Two layouts (see above) will be chosen to receive a $10 coupon for Kim Jensen Designs’ shop!
All other participants will receive a 20% off coupon for Kim Jensen Designs’ shop!
You may enter multiple layouts to increase your odds of winning the $10 prize, but each scrapper will only receive one coupon.
