Yay! That was a fun chat and I'm super happy at how quickly my layout came together! I omitted the journaling (step 7), and then chose the OR option for step 2 and only did stamps (lighthouse and birds).
nope, start again - totally kidding, brushes are digi stamps to me - i just realised too that postage stamps may have been what people read that step as without my step by step photos so i might add them to the first post too - and to be clear, your page is all good! better than good!
Sorry timezone wise I could not join you , but I really enjoyed making the page , with my new goodies
The challenge was choosing the photos and then managing to open a few of my new things.. Kept having to delete things to make room for new... as a result a simple challenge took way too long, but I am very happy with how it came out... Headed to Virginia City from Reno, we came upon this beautiful Vista point. We became entranced with the brick structures that were scattered all around, they looked like fireplaces, but were quite close together... Once in Virginia City we inquired at the Visitors center and learned that they were indeed campsites, from a century ago... People traveling in some of the earliest cars would stop and spend time there... There were NO signs at all, which would have been nice...
Justine!!!! LOVE how you showed the process!!!! I will be making a page (hopefully!) if you are still awake, Good Night, sleep well!!! and a kiss from Bart for you all lovely ladies!!!
So sorry I missed the chat. I wasn't going to be able to attend because every Saturday night we visit with my MIL, but then DH got sick at the last minute and we didn't go. Then I thought I'd be able to attend and totally forgot about it, remembered 5 minutes after it would have ended. Oh well. But on the plus side, DH feels much better today.
My choices: 1. 2 papers with one patterned 2. 3 photos 3. Stitching border frame 4. Something round (dairy cap) 5. Leaves 6. Word strips 7. Journaling
