Hello everyone! One of my favorite parts of The Lilypad is getting to know people through chatting in the forum, checking out the gallery, and going to chats.

Something that always interests me is seeing both the similarities and the differences between everyone! Like I recently learned I am not the only one to ignore salted versus unsalted butter in recipes, a lot of us use a similar computer mouse, but my least favorite household chore is not the same as a lot of other people!

So, let's play a game called Same and Different. I posted something that I think is the same as other people, and something that I think is different from other people. Now, you'll post something that you do the same as people, and something you think is different. Then, you make another post and let someone in the thread know you do that too! (For example, I need to add a post and tag norton94 since I also like to get recipe ideas from Pinterest!) You can quote or tag the scrapper so they see it. You can play as many times as you want. I had the Polly's add in some of their Same/Different posts also to start us off!

This game closes on Tuesday, October 5th at 11am EDT.
One random post (excluding Polly's!) will be selected to win a $3 GC.

Same as others: I wish I had more time to scrap!

Different from others: I care for 2 elderly women with dementia.
 
Same as others: I record my shows so I can zip through commercials.

Different from others: I have hosted my High School forum and keep up the Memorial list for our HS Alumni since 1998.
 
Same as others: I love eating more than cooking.
Different from others: I couldn't even speak a word of English for the first four years of my life.
 
Same - I often get recipe ideas from Pinterest

Different - I dislike going to shopping malls or centers. So when I must, I park by the entrance closest to the shop I'm visiting and go directly there and back to the car. I'm on a mission and have usually already scoped out my purchase online.
 
Same as others: I'm over social media hype!

Different from others: I love jam on grilled cheese.
 
Same as others: I love DSD weekend!

Different from others: I lift weights Monday through Friday every week.

Same as others: I am so far behind on my scrapping.
Different from others: I read all of the books my child reads first so we can can have a conversation about the story. Good thing I read fast. I won't be able to do this for much longer.

I do too - well, I do mine open faced like the Danes. Something about that combination of crisp buttery bread, melting cheddar and sweet jam... :)
 
Same as others: I spend too much money on DSD weekends

Different from others: I have four biological sons and two adopted daughters.
 
Same as others: I have short fine hair.

Different than others: I sit in a kneeling chair at my desk (tilted forward with no back rest) that is good for my back pain.
 
Same ; it is more fun to scrap than to sleep !
Different ; ( but probably not that much ) I use prunes in cooking a fair bit.
 
@Pachimac and @slfam I love jam on strong cheese, but have never tried it on grilled cheese.....
@norton94 big shopping malls are not my favourite places either...... unless it was full of craft stores :giggle
