@LivyBug this is a school bundle with red and blue:

This one has reds, greens, and blues (but probably more pink):

I like Project Mouse (At Sea) for reds and blues too but it's got a lot that's specific for the sea.

When I'm looking for a particular colour scheme I like to check out the BYOCs. There is blue and green with some red in this month's one. Different hues for greens and blues etc in different months.

Any one have a suggestion of a kit for the California Missions? We are planning a road trip to visit all 21 in 7 days. Yay, for 4th grade and independent study! For her project, she wants to make a coffee table book of the missions. Thank you for the help!

I've never scrapped the California missions but I think these paints would be fun to use with pix of the architecture.

I’d look for a template album set with blending like Lynn’s messy pockets, woodville or faded sets and pull colors from your photos for choosing kits.

jan @QuiltyMom grew up in California and may have scrapped the missions or have some ideas.

Let me check my stash to see what I've used and I'll post it here!

I LOVE Lynn's paints! I was thinking the exact thing when I first saw them! I've many more missions to scrap so I'll have to get it!

Another thought, does anyone do custom fonts anymore? I really want it to be her book and her work. So it'd be easier if I just had her handwriting done as a font instead of trying to scan everything in. Thank you for the help!

    @Smileark - I hope this gives you a start.

The plain answer is that I have spent a few years looking for kits for "California Missions". There aren't any. I've checked all the different digi stores, checked galleries to see what people have used, even asked - begged! - designers to make something, and nope. It's just not there. So, I've had to get creative and go with color themes that I thought would work well. Look for kits that have golds, rusts, greens and browns, not for it's particular theme or name. Look for patterns in papers and elements - I've found lots that way. Think out of the box, mix and match. Once you start looking you'll see how many options are out there!

Unfortunately, some of the kits I used are no longer available here because the designer has retired. Here's an example of what I made to give you some idea of what I have done ... You can click on the image to see it larger.

Here's what I've found that works that's currently in the store. I'm always looking, so I'll keep you posted!

The MOSAIC MPM collection. Click on the link to the left it will bring you to the page in the store where you can see what is there since there are too many to list here. The colors are perfect for the Missions and I've used it quite a lot for pages. Also...

The HOME MPM collection. This has gorgeous golden tones to it.

The KINDRED MPM collection. I really like the purple coloring, but this might not be your style.

I'm looking for some templates - individual, bundles, album - any will work - so that I can scrap my husband's landscape pictures that he's been taking since we moved to Montana. Think rugged, mountainous... I'm thinking a large photo as the feature with some elements and papers to highlight. I LOVE Lynn Grieveson's templates, but I'm not sure that I've found ones that are "just right". This would be an album, so I need multiple templates :) Thanks in advance!

Can you attach a few of the photos to a post in this thread so we can get a feel of what might work?

    Here's a few I found. You could
maybe turn the tall ones to fit panorama pix.[IMG]
