What little thing made you happy this week?
Maybe it was the start of the Love Our Designers event?
For DS, it was getting maths homework for the first time in highschool (yes, he's that kind of kid and yes, he'd done it within minutes of getting home and i didn't even need to ask).
In the spirit of being grateful and reflecting, i was happy to talk to a real live person that made sense in a bank branch the other day, after getting nowhere with automated phone menus and poor voice recognition and so many non-sensical options, and then being stuck in a queue for ages several times to the point that i gave up. It may make me sound old and impatient but brick & mortar branches, though few and far between now, with real people behind the desk to solve issues never fail to make me happy!
And also, if you write the date day/month/year like in Aust, happy palindrome day! ( 12.2.21 ) this made DD crazy happy but not so many other people at school were as impressed really but we like these things - like seeing 12:34 on the clock at lunch time is kinda cool to us - it's the little things right?
