I didn't watch Rin-Tin-Tin but I do know about it.
Another story about an old show. Andy Griffith Show. Aunt Bea and Opie. When my cousin was playing college football from 1969-1973, he introduced my mom to some of his friends as his "Aunt B" (her name was Beve) and when he and his wife got their first cat, they named it Opie. I lived with them for about 6 months. They had the cat and a Great Dane. Both loved to snuggle with me on my bed while I watched TV. Now I'm a dog person but Eric, the Great Dane was just a little too big for me. Opie was the only cat in my life that I let even get near me because I am not a cat lover at all!!!
