Hello everyone! I will be heading into the chat room in about 10 minutes to start today's speed scrap! I will update this post with the steps as I hand them out in the chat too!
You will have until one hour after the chat tonight (complete by 11:00pm ET) to complete a layout for the speed scrap and to earn a fun prize. Hope to see lots of you in there!

note: the steps for tonight's speed scrap are from a Christmas Layout of mine, but your page doesn't have to be Christmas related. :agree

    -----------
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
    ----------

1 – Start your layout with one journal card and one photo, slightly overlapping each other on one edge.

2 – place at least 2 small pieces of paper layered under the journal card and photo.

3 – add at least one bit of stitching and one bit of string near the photo and journal card.

4 – since Christmas is generally messy, I want to see at least 10 elements near the journal card/photo cluster we are creating. At least one of those elements must by glittery or shiny (metal, glitter, sequin, etc.)

(again... your page doesn't have to be Christmas related. I just wanted to play into Christmas in July and be inspired by Christmas...)

5 – add journaling to your journaling card (if it’s an actual journal card with space for journaling)… if it’s a filler card, add at least 3 more elements.

6 – add one main background paper and along one edge, add a thin strip of another paper. You may add a tiny bit of stitching to “hold down” the thin paper strip.

7 – Add a date somewhere away from the journal card/ photo cluster and add at least two more tiny elements near the date.

When you finish your layout, post it in the Speed Scrap Gallery and then also post it in this thread so I can leave you all some love!

ETA: Here's the layout I based my steps on. :agree

Going to have to miss this one....a 1200 word essay assignment is calling my name rather loudly (btw it’s due in a little over 4 days and I have zero words so far)
