Here is how a community slow scrap works:

Instead of me giving you instructions to follow for each step of the slow scrap (6) you will give me the instructions. I will pick someone to give me one instruction at a time. That way we are all involved and you gals get to add something you want to use or something to drive everyone insane! Good?

INSTRUCTION #1:
  1. Make it messy, use at least 3 different paints (@dotcomkari )
  2. Either journal 100 words or place a heart in your page (@michelepixels )
  3. At least 3 photos (@kendrawalter )
  4. Use a border around your page (@Electra )
  5. keeping with the 3s.... create a paper stack including background paper with three papers - two plain and one patterned. (@A-M )
  6. A one word title. Can be word art, alpha or a font (@mcurtt )
  7. One of you elements should be sketch-y (@Lisa B )
    • Not sure what sketch-y is? Check post #9 for more description from Lisa!
  8. Add anything else you think your page needs and upload it to the SPEED SCRAP gallery and to the post. (Dalis)

RULES:
Your page should be new and made exclusively for this challenge. It should not be submitted for any other challenge/game. All who complete a page, should post the page in the gallery here at TLP, which means it needs to comply with gallery rules. Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Please post the gallery link or linked image in this thread.

Layouts must be posted in the Speed Scrap Gallery AND on this THREAD by Tuesday May 5 at 11am EDT to be eligible for prize. Prizes will be distributed after the iNSD sale, as coupons are not valid during store-wide sales.

How do we join?
Megan the chat has just ended but you are welcome to follow the above instructions to create a layout.
Another time you click on "Chat" above between "Tutorials" and "Newsletters".
Then to sign into the chat it works best if you choose - "guest" - type in your user name and your real name in brackets. Then "log in".

@Dalis You mention sending the layouts to you in the instructions? Is that correct ?

Nope, not here that was for Blind, someone asked. LOL!!!

Just upload to the speed scrap gallery and here in this thread.

Oh sorry megan. I didn't see this until now. It didn't tell me I had a message. It was in the chat room. You can still join in the slow scrap. I have finished posting all of the steps. You just need to follow the steps and post by the due date.
@Dalis-- hate that I had to miss the chat! But this is a REALLy cool "assignment" ( even if I almost never use solid papers, LOL) and I am gonna do it!

Since my "sketchy" direction was unclear, here are some examples.....:giggle

<- Clearly new here. Where *was* the chat? Love the challenge - may tackle it tomorrow! Thanks!

Ann-Marie, In my hurry I copied and pasted from the blind scrap LOL!!!! Just post it here and in the speed scrap gallery.

Up on the top on the blue/teal bar between TUTORIALS and NEWSLETTER there is the CHAT (room). You can join all the CHAT activities by clicking there.

I hope you join us in the scrapping!

I choose the heart over the 100 words..... There are 3 papers, but it is hard to see. Thanks for the challenge.

This was so much fun!
There really are three paints, one is the gesso drips.
And the Hugs and Kisses is my title. Hmmm, what else, I interpreted "sketchy" to mean drawn with a pen, as in "doodles"

Okay, so, @mcurtt in order to meet your one word title I think I just invented a word "Porchies". When you read the journaling, you will understand. @Dalis, I added a date (per #8) and although I can easily journal 100 words (didn't count what I did here) I added a heart (b&w folded) just to be sure.
