international-moment-of-laughter-day-fun.jpg

The unofficial holiday, created by humorologist Izzy Gesell, encourages people to forget the stresses of daily life and give into the healing and relaxing power of laughter.

Medical studies have shown that laughing reduces stress, increases blood flow, and lowers blood sugar levels. Living during this pandemic time is certainly stressful, so let's take some time today and laugh a little!

Please share something giving you a moment of happiness today!

We actually laugh a lot around here. It's a family tradition to laugh about strange things. It's gotten us in trouble a time or two, but it usually works FOR us.

I got the bright idea (after chatting with Marilyn @mcurtt about no-sew face masks), to make one out of a T-shirt. I knew my DD would be coming up the stairs, so I made my mask out of a T-shirt and was just sitting at my laptop working. She bent double she was laughing so hard. :rollin

We also have our little guy, almost 9 year old Asher. He absolutely keeps us laughing. He came in the room the other night mimicking the infamous character from Beavis and Butthead (The Great Cornholio) - please don't judge. :lol:lol:lol

If any of you are fans from this long running crazy show: Here's a picture. It has to do with TP - toilet paper.

kids are always good for a laugh!

Hubby has a great sense of humour and both of us can be quite quick with one liners. Our 13 yo son is developing a mixture of both our humours and we laugh A LOT in this house - I'm so grateful for the sound

Last night I talked my husband into watching the children's movie.... "Secret Life of Pets 2" which I had not seen and thought it would be fun as I really enjoyed the first one. I laughed a lot last night and I saw Ken with a smile and slight chuckle at times.

I liked Monsters Inc movie ! I am a big kid at heart. I am hoping that our Foxtel will have the movie on soon "The Bridge to Terabitha" We normally do not get all the movie channels but with this COVID19 Foxtel have given everyone access to all channels until the end of May. This movie I mention is one I enjoyed ( sad storyline ) but I want Ken to see it as I am calling the bridge he is building in our backyard as part of the landscaping he is busy doing, "the bridge to Terabitha".

Having a 14 year old and 11 year old around all day, the laughs just keep coming!!

This is so us as well!

On Easter Sunday, I took baskets over for the two little grands and left them for them. My daughter posted this on Facebook yesterday and I had the best laugh! Being a grandma is the best thing ever!
