What's you favourite Easter treat?
Can be candy or something else that you would gladly chomp down on Easter day!

I'm probably one of few that doesn't like Creme Eggs - we watched a documentary about Secrets of the Cadbury Factory or something like that not so long ago and saw the process of making them and their special 'white creme eggs' promo from a few years back that increased their sales but you couldn't pay me to eat them - too sickly.
Hot cross buns and Speckled Eggs are my go-to's!

Let me just say this --- it is a good thing they are hard to find. I got my only bag back in February!!

They also have a special memory. Back in 10th grade I had this crush on a senior who was in my math class and set across the aisle from me. Around Easter time, he offered me a Robin Egg during class. Yeah, it was back in the day when a simple look from a boy was diary fodder, actually having my existence acknowledged was super! I remember it was a blue one.

These look right up my alley too - kind of malteaser-y inside a crisp shell? Glad we dont have them here LOL but i loooove your memory - i think my only Easter memories are of the obligatory Cadbury or Red Tulip hollow choc bunnies from my grandparents every year!

I grew up with chocolate bunnies and jelly beans, neither of which are my favorite. Last year we got big Easter eggs filled with Trolli gummies and those were a hit. My favorite jelly beans are Gimbals Sours. My chocolate bunny of choice is York because I love my chocolate with mint. I've never liked the creme filled eggs or the Whopper Robin's Eggs. I love the chocolate mini Cadbury eggs so much that I don't let myself buy them because I'll eat the entire bag in one sitting haha

We have hard white coated chocolate eggs that look like hens eggs. Those are my favourite.
But any chocolate is good in my book.

I am not a chocolate fan really at all but my easter weakness is brioche hot cross buns from one particular independent grocery store branch

Not something we normally have. For us Easter is all focused around the Cross and resurrection. We do like hot cross buns on the Friday, but don't have them every year.

We're on the vulnerable & isolated person's list and we are getting the weekly Thursday night delivery from the local supermarkets of goods at or near their sell by date. We have allergies, and Tesco included a Free From White Chocolate Egg, and Waitrose some Free From mini Easter cakes for us with all our fresh veggies. So we'll be trying those out this weekend.

I am really a candy eater at all. I can have a small piece or two here and there and I'm more likely to go for something sour/tart rather than sweet. I do not like creme eggs at all, can't even do one bite of them. However, my DIL brought me some of these the other day and I have to say, they were pretty yummy

As far as Easter in general, I think the things I look forward to the most food-wise are deviled eggs :)

i really wasn't expecting that as an answer! i think my daughter would be just as happy with an Easter cheese platter as a chocolate egg though!

my DH braved the shops today and came back with Apple & Cinnamon hot cross buns and DD promptly told me Dad was her favourite parent and now i am trying to resist having any of them! it's a struggle!

Maybe I can get the baker daughter to make hot cross buns today. It would be an adventure for both of us. They were never a tradition for me.

And deviled eggs, @IntenseMagic? Oh baby those are a year round treat for us. I even have a deviled egg plate collection.

Hmmm - we should make some deviled eggs for Easter. I am thinking a big ole ham would be wonderful too - even if it is just us..

I'm 1000% with you on the robin eggs! Especially the mini's. Sadly, they are really common around here- but thankfully me not going out much = I don't buy them as often. They are SO my downfall! That & the coconut Dove eggs...mmmmm

Peeps! They're my all-time favorites and I'm so glad that they have them year round now.

Yum! I haven’t seen these!
